Resident Evil 2 Reviews
Resident evil 2 Remake is absolutely a masterpiece. It's the best experience in survival honor genre and of course is one of the best games of this generation. Horror Element is back once again to the series and we hope capcom continues using this proper formula for next Resident Evil games

This remake will speak to both newcomers and veterans alike. It's an old school formula that's been spiced up for a modern generation and it works. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat and have your heart skipping a beat, but, most of all, it'll remind you just why it has such a legendary status. It's simply one of the best Resident Evil stories ever told and this remake honours that.
Since the release of Resident Evil 7, Capcom has been dedicated to returning the acclaimed series to its survival-horror roots. Resident Evil 2 2019 is a terrific addition to the survival-horror genre that modernizes the classic 1998 title while also capturing the original game's atmosphere with improved visuals and gameplay mechanics. There are some small flaws in the consistency of damage and the slow running speed but these are minor issues. Resident Evil 2 2019 is an experience that will have even the most veteran survival-horror fan trembling in fear.
In an age of jumpscares, loud stings, and a lack of genuine unease, the Resident Evil 2 remake stands out in a way that few other games have. Now we just have to wait for the announcement of a Resident Evil 3 remake. Please, Capcom?
Resident Evil 2 is a solid remake with great visuals and satisfying gameplay. Having said that this remake suffers from a disappointing soundtrack.
Resident Evil 2 fills the gap of single-player games, not very long, but incredibly addictive, relatively linear and devoid of all the ills of the current gaming industry. It is a perfectly polished remake, which is a model for other producers, how old classics should be restored, but it is also an excellent game, able to compete as a separate being with the largest titles.

Capcom has released the Game of the Year in the first month of 2019. If you only buy one game this year, make sure it’s this one. Screw Red Dead Redemption 2, move over The Witcher 3—Resident Evil 2 is, so far, the game of the generation.
As I mentioned at the top, every now and then there comes a game that defines a genre, a game that people remember fondly many years later. I feel that RE 2019 is one such game. To me, it belongs on the prestigious list of "perfect remakes", just like Resident Evil: REmake did before it, replacing the original as the definitive experience. If you're in two minds about the game, don't be - it's a return to form for the series and a shining example of what survival horror is supposed to be.
Capcom has delivered not only an amazing remake of Resident Evil 2, its an even scarier game than the original. The Visuals look absolutely stunning on all platforms, the audio amplifies the tension and the atmosphere, and the overall recreation of the classic game fills you with both awe and dread as you experience the same, yet different, game we all love. Newcomers to the game will love trying to solve all of the puzzles as they strive to stay alive, whereas veterans of the franchise will have a reason to jump back in and experience it all over again. This is clearly one of the best remakes we’ve seen on current gen hardware and raises the bar for likewise titles moving forward; It’s a worthy contender for Game of the Year – not bad for a 20-year-old game which was released in January! Bravo Capcom, Bravo.
Non-stop, tense horror adventure that delivers on its promise of keeping players on their toes as they navigate the corridors of the game, avoiding enemies and preserving ammo as you must in real survival. The graphics revamp and musical score make the game seamlessly fit into 2019, and we believe the experience justifies launch day buy.
New and old virus strikes again. And it is as much fun as more than 20 years before! And Leon and Clair are still cool!

There was a time when I thought I was done with Resident Evil games. Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2, however, showed me that the franchise not only has enough left in the tank but possesses even more possibilities that have yet to be tapped. Resident Evil 6 felt like a lost zombie searching for its soul and grasping at anything it could hold onto. The Resident Evil 2 remake, on the other hand feels like, well, a Resident Evil game. As someone who loved the earlier entries in the franchise, that’s the highest compliment I can give it.
An unexpected horror delight, Resident Evil 2 is a fantastic example of how to remake a classic while staying faithful to the original.
One of the best survival horror adventures ever released gets the royal remake treatment in 2019's first must-play game
Resident Evil 2 keeps the best aspects of it's source material and combines them with stunningly grotesque graphics, fresh plot twists, gasp inducing tension and solid gameplay to create a seriously satisfying game.
With great pacing and respect for the source material, Resident Evil 2 is a game that keeps you on the edge of the seat. This time, Capcom's achievement is taking a classic and turning it into an immortal jewel.

Plenty of value if you’re a survival-horror/horror fan, or just a Resident Evil fan, but for mine -- a brand new experience would have been more welcome.
If one were to judge a horror title solely on its ability to suspend its audience in a state of dreadful tension, Resident Evil 2 would be quite accomplished.
Graphically, Resident Evil 2 is atmospheric and breathtaking.
A fan-faithful remake rebuilt from the ground up and jam-packed with quality content. A package both longtime Resident Evil fans and newbies will enjoy.
