Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Reviews
Just what a visual novel should be—fun characters and the rush of solving mysteries make you eager to keep going.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a solid collection of courtroom dramedies, but far from essential for fans.
The sheer age of the games are beginning to count against them but Ace Attorney still remains exhibit A in how to make even the silliest story-based games fun and engaging.
There's no denying that breaking down an arrogant witness, and ultimately winning a case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney feel fantastic. Fitting in the right pieces of evidence to find contradictions is extremely satisfying, I just wish there was more depth, and a little more nuance, to both the witnesses you're breaking down, and the game at large.
Despite a few quibbles that most new players won’t even notice, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an impressive remastering of three of the greatest adventure games ever made.
Full of quirky characters and the convoluted cases to solve, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is still a great visual novel adventure, and it's been thoroughly spruced up for modern consoles. It's not the most adventurous of remasters, but there's a real charm to these games that's great for newcomers as well as fans revisiting the series.
Three games that are as fresh and clever as the first time they released on the GBA. Theres barely any improvement, and we lament the absence of a spanish translation, but it is difficult to make an "objection" giving the three games are finally releasing on every platform.

Hopefully this is just the start, with similar quality releases of the latter three games and hopefully a further sequel yet to come following this. Rest assured – these are a fantastic way to revisit familiar adventures for existing fans and a must-play in the genre for everybody else. At last, they’ve got a current release definitively worth bothering with.
If the audience is there, then these home console versions of Ace Attorney are very welcome as I have no objection to more Phoenix Wright.
Now built for consoles rather than exclusively as a handheld title, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy still maintains the same charm and gameplay the series has always been known for over the years while looking cleaner than ever.
Really, if you’re a fan of good stories and good characters – and have a spare 50 hours to work through three games of cases – this is a pretty good bet.
The transition from portable devices to consoles hasn't hurt the quality of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, which remain some of my favorite games of all time. Phoenix Wright and company are deserving of the big screen, and this game is well worth your time if you haven't gotten around to playing it elsewhere.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy can't stand up to the likes of major "AAA" blockbusters, but it offers tremendous enjoyment and satisfaction. If you haven't played these games before, now's the time to pick them up.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an excellent opportunity to rediscover a classic of modern text adventures.

A confident revamp of Phoenix Wright's earliest legal adventures, the Ace Attorney Trilogy is a cleverly constructed hybrid of logical conundrums and visual novel beats that combine to make one of the most accessible and gleefully silly puzzlers the PS4 has seen in quite sometime.
The funniest courtroom game finally comes to PC, and it hasn't lost any of its wit, drama, or mind-bending puzzling in the process.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a satisfying collection of mysteries, many of which are still as sharp as when they were first published. Sure, certain aspects of these games feel a touch dated compared to some of the newer, edgier visual novels out there, but few can top Phoenix and friends when it comes to charm. This HD update is a bit barebones, but, overall, these classics are well-represented.
Phoenix Wright has finally made his debut on a PlayStation console in the form of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, and you'll have absolutely no objections from us. This collection of three brilliant games is well worth the attention of adventure game fans, visual novel aficionados, or budding lawyers. The mind-bending, labyrinthine murder plots are far-fetched but engaging, the writing is consistently pithy and amusing, and the characters you'll meet are charming and unique. It's an open and shut case – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy rocks.
Along with the same colorful character designs and over-the-top reactions, the trilogy does an excellent job of keeping the game visually attractive
