Overall Jump Force does several things well, but where it falls short it is noticeable. If you're a big fan of the various Jump Shonen franchises than this is a fun ride for you, if you're looking for an online fighting game, look elsewhere. Having your custom character fight side on the same team as Luffy from One Piece or Midoriya from My Hero Academy is great. The characters from their shows are done very well and look great. Customizing of your character is well done and gives you some good variety. The story is ok and could've been better. The biggest let down comes in the online play and horrid connections. The game clocks in at $59.99 USD on Steam.

Overall, Jump Force feels a bit like Dragon Ball Xenoverse, but also feels like it doesn’t approach the level that Xenoverse achieved. The developers did want to make it accessible to all ages, however, and it feels like that was successful, so fans of the different series should enjoy the game.

An uncomplicated concession for fans of several generations to come together in a game that is more fun than competitive. The confluence of so many universes in which at the moment is the definitive crossover of the Shonen.

Effective, accessible and fun anime beat'em up that has inconsistencies in technology and game design.

Jump force allows players to finally answer those age-old questions, such as "Who would win in a fight between Goku and Naruto Uzumaki?", which have been the subject of debates in forum discussions, memes or video commentaries, and that alone should be enough of a reason to make fans of the genre interested in the game.

Jump Force's gameplay is spectacular and amazing, but too many technical issues get in the way, ruining part of the fun.

Joining so many manga stars is with no doubt the great feature of a fighting game that feels just OK. Sometimes it's flashy, but also out of balance.

Jump Force provides strategic tag-team arena-based combat that's filled with fun references to Shonen Jump manga, but the game's story leaves much to be desired.

Jump Force is a good title for the manga and anime fans. However, the game does not manage to meet the expectations due to several technical problems as well as the lack of an interesting story

What this game is really about is fan service and I must admit that it succeeds in offering folks up a hefty chunk in that department. Jump Force knows that it’s really for the Shonen Jump fans and if you are a fan there’s plenty to like here. One would probably be better off focusing on the core fighting game aspects though.

Junp Force works great both as a combat title with easy and fun gameplay mechanics and a crossover plagued with tons of fanservice derived from the manga and series it gathers. Sadly, its presentacion leaves a lot to be desired, its story is completely absurd and you have some technical issues that restrain it from becoming that dream game many fans wanted.

Jump Force is a very flawed game that fails at some of the most basic fundamentals, but nonetheless manages to be great fun, and provide enough value and fanservice that fans of the various properties from Shonen Jump represented within it will find enough reason to get it.

If it wasn’t for Jump Force‘s highly entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable combat, the game would be a disaster. But Jump Force is a fighting game, and so everything about it that’s turgid and unnecessary can largely be avoided or overlooked.

Jump Force certainly has its issues. The off-putting visual representation of some of the cast members, cheap-looking animations during cinematic sequences, and bland lobby appearance are among those problems. But there’s a fun fighter buried underneath all those negatives that you’ll come to appreciate. The massive roster (which is still growing), amazingly chaotic battles and somewhat deep battle system provides plenty of reason for players to act out their best dream match scenarios. Jump Force may not be a manga/anime fan’s dream game, but it comes close enough to fulfilling that wish.

Jump Force is first and foremost an entertaining brawler who lives from his licenses and powerful visual effects. If you leave aside the loveless staging, the graphic style that takes getting used to, and some questionable design decisions, the rapid, albeit quite simple fights are especially memorable. But let's be honest: Jump Force lacks so much fine-tuning, depth and ambition that the brawler inevitably has to live an existence in mediocrity. And yet, the distinctive fan service, which can be found in so many facets of the game, should draw anime and manga fans of all kinds into its spell.

Jump Force features a massive cast of characters but its gameplay is definitely flashier than deep which makes it eventually become incredibly monotonous and tough to enjoy.

Announced as one of Bandai Namco's biggest titles, Jump Force turns out to be another unloving anime adaptation that does not even match all of its unique characters. The great animations in the fight can hardly compensate for the weak plot and bad presentation. Thus, the alleged games highlight turns out to be an entertaining fun for all fans, but over a longer period of time does not know how to motivate.
