One Piece: World Seeker is going to be adored by veterans and hardcore fans of the series, but is still quite enjoyable and easy to follow by someone that either has a casual knowledge or used to keep up with One Piece and the adventures of Luffy and his crew in the past. The game makes no effort to bring you up to speed with the story so far, character relationships or telling you why you should care about Luffy and the other members of the Straw Hats so I probably wouldn’t recommend this as a jumping on point for someone with zero familiarity with the One Piece universe just based on the fact you wouldn’t get the complete sense of enjoyment that someone with knowledge of the series would.
One Piece: World Seeker features impressively rewarding exploration that'll have you immersed in its beautiful and expansive world.
One Piece fans will be able to overlook World Seeker's issues, but those not as big on the series won't miss much by skipping this title.
While it’s rough around the edges, World Seeker easily takes the top spot as the finest One Piece video game.
Fighting iconic enemies and exploring Prison Island can be fun at the beginning, but the repetitive gameplay and boring missions don't leave much to be enjoyed afterwards.

Despite a ton of initial promise and flash, One Piece: World Seeker fails both as a One Piece game and an engaging open world experience.
It is about time we had a proper open world One Piece game but unfortunately, it is not without its faults. The open world feels barren, the combat is lackluster, stealth badly implemented and the mission design is repetitive. The game can still be plenty of fun especially the traversal, and it looks gorgeous in motion.
One Piece: World Seeker is a mediocre open-world game in One Piece franchise. The story is interesting and has the unique one-piece feeling in it. The game also has good graphics and features fun movement system inspired. Despite all this, the missions and overall experience of the game get repetitive and boring very fast which is not acceptable for a 60$ game. The game will be enjoyable for One Piece fans but I recommend other players to wait for a good discount to test this game.

One Piece: World Seeker isn’t the most inventive open world game out there. It’s not the biggest or the most varied in terms of mission design and structure. But it is a delight to play, thanks in part to its wonderful characters, well-written story and absolutely stunning-looking world.
Overall, One Piece: World Seeker has some great ideas - and the premise of an open world tie-in for One Piece is brilliant, but in execution the game falls short of being a great experience
One Piece World Seeker is at least ambitious. When trying to produce an open world game, Bandai Namco does not seem to have been willing to risk all the time and money that such a game needs to really come out complete and just did the bare minimum. They delivered a solid gameplay, but an empty, generic, open world game. A story was exclusively made for the game, but the main missions aren't captivating and diverse enough to catch your attention. In the end, the game looks like a half-done product, with a potential to be much better if they had given Ganbarion another two years of development.

In some ways, One Piece: World Seeker is an exciting adventure that makes you feel inside an official OVA. Sadly, it has a poor combat system and an outdated mission design that makes you forget everything it does right.

Overall, One Piece: World Seeker captures the entire spirit of the franchise and compresses it into a new and unique story, on an island that you'll enjoy exploring and with characters some of you may have even grown up with.
One Piece: World Seeker is an incredibly ambitious game, and one that I have an immense amount of respect for, even if I personally did not enjoy it.
Despite all that One Piece World Seeker can't do, it's still a solid B game.
One Piece: World Seeker is a boring open-world game that does a disservice to the Straw Hat Pirates.
Although it's filled with annoying moments World Seeker is more fun than frustration. There are some rookie issues with it but the exploration still absolutely makes the game what it is.
One Piece: World Seeker could have been so much more that it is. While many of its elements were executed rather well and are still very enjoyable, many others feel uninspired and generic. Hopefully, Bandai Namco and Ganbarion learn from this first attempt at an open-world One Piece game and are able to improve on it in the future, as World Seeker has made it clear that One Piece would work very well as a large-scale open-world game.
A game with a weak story and nothing really interesting apart from exploration and graphics, with only few engaging moments. It is somehow authentic but absolutely not the One Piece game fans were expecting.
