The best part of the game is the story itself, which you will have to wander in about twenty hours. So if you do not mind worse dueling system and constant travel for the task here and there, when you feel like a messenger, so is the game for you as a do. One Piece: World Seeker delivers a great anime experience, but the rest of the game's content drags down under the water, where Luffy can hardly save it. The game takes recommendations for four points out of ten.

One Piece: World Seeker is beautiful. The characters, their actions, and reactions are what one One Piece fan expects and the story maintains its connection to the series. But gameplay has its drawbacks. The creators haven't been able to incorporate the features of the series as they should. All in all, this game can be fun for One Piece fans, but those who aren't familiar with the series may not be able to communicate well with it.

One Piece: World Seeker is lacking in so many areas. It may be lovely to look at, but an overall shallow and repetitive experience take away any semblance of joy fans are likely to find.

One Piece: World Seeker is by far the best the series has been in game form. Combat feels good even if it is one note. The world is simply stunning to traverse through and the story and characters really carried me through to the end. I wish it was more fleshed out in terms of variety. One Piece continues to be a series I have an affinity for even without ever having experienced the anime, which means I will most likely be on-board for whatever comes next.

One Piece: World Seeker is an encouraging step in the right direction for licensed anime games. It’s not outstanding in any way, and it doesn’t push any boundaries, but the open world design feels refreshing, the gameplay is fun enough, and, in this particular case, the pull of the One Piece franchise is enough to warrant attention from the gaming mainstream. There are still many teething and performance issues that will need to be fixed if World Seeker is going to be considered a design template for future titles. However, for now, I’m cautiously optimistic about what the future holds for titles like this, and that’s a far better feeling than I’ve had about anime video games in a long time.

World Seeker finds its ground creating an original story, that even if is not as good as the original manga, is definitely a good one. The game kind of open world is fun to explore using Luffy abilities like a superhero game. Unfortunately the game doesn't take much advantage of the combat and becomes kinda repetitive after some time.

World Seeker is a praiseworthy attempt by Bandai to innovate in the games saga that One Piece. But unfortunately, Luffy's last adventure remains in the extensive field of "ahiiii almost"

Overall, One Piece: World Seeker captures the entire spirit of the franchise and compresses it into a new and unique story, on an island that you'll enjoy exploring and with characters some of you may have even grown up with.

While players who are unfamiliar with the franchise may be rather bored and find it lackluster, at least at first (it does pick up a bit further in), fans of the series should find quite a bit to enjoy within the game.

One Piece: World Seeker tells a good story but is ruined by poor gameplay. Exploring the open-world is extremely dull and meaningless.

While World Seeker falters in some aspects, great exploration and realization of the world provide for an enjoyable time for One Piece and anime fans alike.

One Piece World Seeker is at least ambitious. When trying to produce an open world game, Bandai Namco does not seem to have been willing to risk all the time and money that such a game needs to really come out complete and just did the bare minimum. They delivered a solid gameplay, but an empty, generic, open world game. A story was exclusively made for the game, but the main missions aren't captivating and diverse enough to catch your attention. In the end, the game looks like a half-done product, with a potential to be much better if they had given Ganbarion another two years of development.

One Piece: World Seeker offers a weak storyline with dull quests, terrible stealth mechanics, beautiful graphics and nice boss battles, except the last opponent, battle with whom can be described as a mockery. But after disastrous VR experiments Luffy fans should be happy about World Seeker.

One Piece World Seeker has ambition, but fails to perfect the execution. The camera is horrible, side quests don't add anything and the large island feels empty. Thankfully the many skills and interesting main quests save what little there is left.

One Piece World Seeker made us hopeful to finally experience a decent title based on an Anime. Despite the low quality of such games, we were confident that this one is going to be different. However, this game too was a disappointment, one teeming with unused potential. It is true that One Piece World Seeker had the potential to become one of the best Anime-Games ever made, it is unfortunate to see all of it go to waste due to the lack of delicate and precise design by the developers.

Luffy's charm really helps sell this game, with the open world being quite beautiful at times. But some issues with the combat, lack of Straw Hats interacting with the world, and the lock on system being a pain during some fights gives this enough flaws that some folks might not be able to ignore.

One Piece: World Seeker tells a surprisingly well-realized story that fans of the series are sure to enjoy, but only if they can make it through repetitive and frustrating gameplay. The talented voice cast and bright, popping visuals are a treat, but it does little to revolutionize the open-world adventure genre. If you aren't a fan of the source material, World Seeker is hard to recommend, but lovers of the Straw Hat pirates will find an enjoyable story buried under a lot of mundane gameplay.

Overall, One Piece Worldseeker is a game that is best enjoyed as an anime rather than a game. There are just too many factors that make me not want to continue playing it or even dream of playing it. But I'm sure One Piece fans would disagree. The game really has a lot of potential but it seems like it was too shortsighted with its dream.

There’s definitely fun to be had with One Piece World Seeker. I know it may not seem that way after reading through the review, but trust me when I say fans of the anime are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of this title, even if it gets dull rather quickly.
