Doom Eternal is a brilliant game, one that is a worthy successor to the previous release. While the game does stumble here and there, trying to be something that it really shouldn't be, the outstanding gameplay more than makes up for any issues. Going by the campaign alone, Doom Eternal is well worth your time and money, particularly so if you liked Doom. I'm not sold on the multiplayer, as it feels just a bit too threadbare.

Doom Eternal is one of the best FPS that exists today. We can even say that it far exceeds the original. However, not everything shines with the same intensity; the story is confusing and unnecessary, the platform sections are tedious, the new visual identity is generic. In general, you can notice a change of direction towards a game as a service for the wrong reasons. Doom Eternal finds himself caught in the eternal conflict of finding his own identity.

Doom Eternal is the perfect evolution of the classic FPS series from id Software. Finally, Bethesda is delivering a game that we deserved. We have a GOTY contender.

DOOM returns to offer us another installment loaded with wonderful and vertical battles full of rawness and to rhythm of heavy metal. Although they have impressed us again in the shooter aspect, DOOM Eternal adds more content to the game, as well as parts of the platform, which we do not see clearly its contribution and make us miss the simplicity of this franchise.

DOOM Eternal is an example of how to make a great sequel. Doesn't break with the 2016 game and allows us to embody a character that is a demon killer. It makes us feel powerful and is one of the most brutal games we've enjoyed in a long time.

Supremely difficult, extremely rewarding and, above all else, absolutely unrelenting, id Software has once again set the bar for the hyper-violent twitch shooter genre with Doom Eternal.

The joy accompanied me from the first grasp of the controller in the paw, because DOOM Eternal is a masterful combination of gameplay and dynamics with content, sound and setting.

Very few games are able to make me feel as powerful as this one does. So bust out you gun, sharpen your blade, and get ready to wipe demon juice off the soles of your feet.

If Doom 2016 was a truly next gen incarnation of id Software's seminal first person shooter, Doom Eternal is the ultimate and most brutal version possible --a true spectacle in every way.

Doom Eternal tops its predecessor by featuring larger maps filled with secrets, more ultra-violent weapons, and a huge variety of demons to slay. It is 2020's most extreme, first-person shooter.

Even if you're freaked out by monsters, demons, zombies, and everything in between, there's something so empowering about thrashing them all to bloody bits. A game where you rip out a demon's explosive heart to shove it down their throat will never be known for nuance, but there's a place in every gamer's library for the pure adrenaline of Doom Eternal.

Vaster, magnetic and more brutal than ever, DOOM Eternal is a hymn to the frenzy that perfects the reboot formula, extending it beyond measure. Unmissable.

The feeling that id Software really looked at what made the first DOOM games good is nice. With DOOM Eternal, they have created a game that is not only good for the current standard of games, but also looks back very respectfully at what made the past so good. The combination of these makes for a success formula that we will hopefully see more of in the future. There are more ways than ever before to take on the mortally challenged army.

DOOM Eternal is the quintessence of the shooter, a new starting point for the genre and a clear candidate for the game of the year 2020. Never an uncertainty, never a doubt, the game id Software and Bethesda convinces and amazes from beginning to end, offering the player dozens of hours of content, evolving the previous chapter into a practically almost perfect product, where gameplay, level design, soundtrack come together in a surprising qualitative combination.
