Incredible from start to finish. Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters.
I thoroughly enjoyed A Plague Tale: Innocence from start to finish and cannot fault this title at all. While the gameplay is fluid that is accompanied by excellent graphics and audio, where A Plague Tale – Innocence shines is with its characters and the way it tells their story. So if you're upset at how Game of Thrones ended and need a story that is told correctly, A Plague Tale – Innocence does that flawlessly.
Asobo Studios has successfully created an authentic version of history and delivered it through a brilliant tale in A Plague Tale: Innocence.
A Plague Tale: Innocence delivers so many wonderful attributes to make this a near-perfect game.
By the end of A Plague Tale, its surviving heroes have earned their rest. It's hard to say goodbye to them, though, the same way it's hard to no longer spend time with the characters of a great book or TV show. A bittersweet post-credits sting hints at what might await the de Runes in the future; hopefully that's a story that players will be able to explore one day.
Asobo Studio brings together a culmination of stunningly beautiful art, hauntingly lovely music, and a wonderfully crafted, heart-wrenching story of a young girl and her brother as they live through the eradication of their family and become targets of the Inquisition during a plague-ridden time period. A Plague Tale: Innocense is not a game you will soon forget or want to pass by.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a brilliant new IP which satisfied me in every way imaginable. The visuals were simply stunning, albeit a little blurry in certain scenes, the voice acting and music were perfectly recorded and pieced together, the gameplay was broken up between stealth, exploration and puzzles, and the narrative was both exciting and engaging to play through. Despite the few personal issues I had with the forced combat segments, I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this alternative take on the deadly Black Death and how two siblings worked together to overcome the dangers they were faced with.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a linear game which balances stealth, escort mission, and puzzles perfectly. To top it all off, the story is phenomenal. Though the character animations may sometimes look stiff and robotic, the overall presentation makes up for these minor nitpicks.
A stimulating linear adventure, offering a welcome change of page from the usual open-world games.

It's a masterclass in emotional storytelling and absolutely top-notch in making narrative and gameplay compliment one another
Many other games can learn a lot from A Plague Tale: Innocence. It features a superb story with realistic characters and nice coming-of-age parts as well as a world with a superb atmosphere. While there are some mechanic hiccups here and there, gameplay is a well-done mix of the elements and remains fresh. There's also a top-notch visual and technical quality that I would like to see in more games.

A Plague Tale: Innocence proves that feisty young women are the new heroes of single player narrative adventures, and Amicia can proudly stand alongside Aloy and Senua. Asobo Studios have knocked it out of the park with a compelling story, superb graphics, and excellent music. Loved it.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a game that deserves to be experienced by everyone. Although there is no possibility to choose a precise degree of difficulty, it manages to stimulate without ever being frustrating, highlighting a lot of skill in managing the rhythm.

With a magnificent storyline replete with devious puzzles and gorgeous vistas, A Plague Tale: Innocence is as beautiful as it is disturbing. A survival stealth title at its heart, Asobo Studio's approach to the story of the bubonic plague is completely unique, and one I can't recommend highly enough.
Overall, the upgrade for A Plague Tale: Innocence is a hugely successful one. I’m so glad I waited to experience the game on more powerful hardware. While I’m not sure it does enough to warrant a second playthrough, anybody who has not yet played the game is missing out on a treat, and the PS5 version is the definitive way to play.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a dark medieval stealth adventure that blends superb gameplay, excellent writing, and amazing presentation into one cohesive experience.
