So other than the various technical issues that Sword and Fairy 6 has, it’s a good title. With customizable battle styles and a good battle system alongside good storytelling, there’s plenty to love if you can get past the awful load times and the choppy performance.
While this latest installment has a compelling story worth experiencing, the game is riddled with technical issues that make it difficult to recommend.
Sword & Fairy 6 is a game with good ideas and inspirations that could've had resulted in a great game. However, the absurd amount of technical issues, specially its awful framerate and every kind of possible bug, make the game very hard to recommend.

Just as foreign films might be worthy, even essential, even though they lack the budgets and production values of Hollywood, so too does a title like Sword and Fairy 6 deserve to find an audience in the kind of player that is more interested in artistry and theme than how well done the button pressing fun is.
Sword and Fairy 6 is a poor introduction to the popular Chinese RPG series.
Sword and Fairy 6 is an unfinished broken mess that should probably be avoided at all costs. What should have been a triumph for Chinese game development is instead a massively wasted opportunity.
