GOOD - The overall lack of polish on Saints Row: The Third is apparent, but it’s still a lot fun to jump back to a time where open world shooters weren’t overrun with loot boxes and forced online functionality. A bit more refinement would’ve made this a must-have title, but fans of customization, blowing up helicopters, and Burt Reynolds, should find a lot to like here.

It may not be the prettiest way to play Saints Row but it’s hard to care about the technical nitty-gritty. This is a fun, engaging port that will offer many hours of open world shenanigans.

Saints Row: The Third is an enjoyable, if frequently tasteless, open world action game that proves to be a surprisingly good fit for handheld play.

Outlandish style, zany action, over-the-top crudity, that will make your draw drop, and holler. I definitely love what Volition and Deep Silver have managed to pull off here, and am definitely pumped to dive through my windshield one more time, and take it for a spin.

If there was one major series that would seem to be a great fit for play on the go and the Switch it would be Grand Theft Auto...

Full Package should be retitled "Flawed Package" because there are a few issues here that are noticeable enough to hamper the experience. It's prone to substantial bugs to the point where it freezes, and there's just a dated feel to it, both in the humor and the visuals. However, while there are noticeable issues, the core sandbox gameplay is strong, and if there is one thing I can say about Saints Row: The Third, it's definitely not boring.

So, if you’ve never played Saints Row: The Third before and can’t imagine playing a game on anything other than the Switch, The Full Package is a must-buy despite its technical issues.

Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package is no masterpiece. It never was. However, it is a fun action game that could've been a decent open-world game on the Switch. Instead, it is one of the most poorly optimized ports we've seen on the system thus far, making it hard to recommend. It is not unplayable and it is still somewhat fun, but the technical limitations get in the way almost all the time. For the $40 price point, The Third isn't worth the price of admission.

If you're in the mood for some crude humor and silly, over-the-top action, Saints Row: The Third is still an undisputed king of ridiculousness.

Saints Row: The Third Full Package Edition is hard to recommend. The game shows its age and the gameplay doesn't hold up in a world that has seen the release of games such as Red Dead Redemption, GTA VI and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

While this game certainly isn't for all, what's provided is done so well and in such abundance that I recommend this game to anyone with a Switch and consent to play this kind of game. Not many other games on the Switch can compare in terms of customization, replayability, and sheer scale of its open world.

Saints Row: The Third was a sacred moment in time where lunatics reimagined the animus of an open-world crime game. It enabled players to thunderously lead a prestigious gang of miscreants and also turn themselves into a toilet. Eight years later Saints Row: The Third's glut of Content is more difficult to digest, but its outrageous ambience is (mostly) still so sweet.

Despite technical limitations, including subpar frame rates, glitches that were present in the original, and weak performance while docked, Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package remains one of the best open-world games on Switch. This makes it, like always, a solid choice for newcomers or those who want to explore a world on the go, assuming you can overlook the shortcomings.

While no one expected it – and we dare say that no one asked for it – Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package revives an often forgotten open-world adventure on a new console generation, complete with a huge amount of cosmetic and expansion DLC.

Saints Row The Third, like many games from the past generation, made its way to the Switch. And it appears unfotunatly technically very old. Nevertheless, Saints Row remains to be fun and a good punching bag.

While Saints Row: The Thrid - The Full Package contains some great missions at its core, the Nintendo Switch port itself is a bit rough.

In its current state, it’s hard to recommend Saints Row The Third. The Switch has been fortunate in receiving some ports of titles that were widely well received or have fairly large cult followings, but I can’t say that Saints Row has made the same successful jump as some of those other ported titles.

Saints Row The Third is the same riotous good time it's always been, except now you can take it anywhere. Some performance issues hold the experience back, but with any luck the instability will get patched out.

Saints Row: The Third is still fun play and 8 years later it feels better if enjoyed in short session in handheld mode. The main problem of this release is the lacklustre porting, spoiled by framerate issues, some crashes and poor controls optimization. Anyway, if you feel nostalgic about the Saints irriverence, it's still worth a shot.
