Assetto Corsa Competizione Reviews
Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Seris X is the definitive form of the course simulation on consoles, finally incorporating in these platforms all the progress made on the PC version in these years of work and refinement.

The Next-Gen version of Assetto Corsa Competizione is a disaster. It can improve with attention and pertinent updates since the simulation and the gameplay are there, but it seems that there is no interest in doing it.

Racers will absolutely love this title, and it finally lives up to its mantle of being a definitive sim-racing title to keep in your repertoire.
Assetto Corsa Competizione brings the pure driving simulation on console. The game can count on great performances and, despite it being built with a steering wheel in mind, we would have appreciated the use of adaptive triggers on Dualsense.

The game will repay and take into account the time devoted to it with emotions, which are often in vain to find in other titles, having hundreds of cars and focusing more on the surrounding of what driving is, than on the very essence of giving the realities of the racing driver's efforts.

With its massively upgraded visual presentation and much more responsive racing together with a surprisingly immersive DualSense implementation, one of the best hardcore racing simulators out just got even better on PS5. This is the definitive version of Assetto Corsa Competizione on console and that fact alone should be a cause for celebration for anyone with even a passing interest in highly detailed racing simulations.
Assetto Corsa Competizione its a true racing sim where the driving experience makes for the lack of some complex features.

Thanks to the smooth gameplay and 4K support, Assetto Corsa Competizione prides itself in its sense of immersion. Well, that’s if you can spare the extra cash for a wheel and pedals. However, the lacklustre variety and less than desirable controller feel keep making me ask myself the same question. Why not just buy Gran Turismo 7?
As a beginner, Assetto Corsa Competizione has such a high barrier of entry that it would take me a lot of time and dedication to explore everything the title has to offer. It's certainly an interesting experience of trying to control an incredibly fast car and going, gradually, taking milliseconds off each lap and trying to get a better time. For enthusiasts, it's certainly a valid recommendation, but for newbies to the genre I believe there is a lot to be done for this to become a receptive title.

It is great to see a free next-gen upgrade for a game. While I appreciate that some developers charge for their upgrades, you can see that their time and effort needs to be paid for somewhere.
Racing games' fans will have a great time and enjoy one of the most realistic driving models we have seen in recent years in videogames.

Once again Kunos took her time to churn out yet another impeccable package from the point of view of reproductive quality. The tracks are extremely faithful to their real counterparts, the behavior of the cars on the track is credible, the track limits are well implemented and we can say, without fear of being denied, that the best digital reproduction of these three circuits is precisely that offered by Assetto Corsa Competizione.
