Put it this way – playing TSW is like operating a model railway. Inspite of the lifeless buildings and static figures, it’s fun to make highly-detailed trains trundle up and down. And unlike a model railway, you don’t have to spend hundreds of pounds and spend years building the entire world by hand.

Train Sim World's 2020 upgrade certainly adds some much needed polish, but doesn't fix the base game's poor visuals or technical gremlins.

Train Sim World 2020 is a game though that does offer good variety and good enjoyment in its content, and at the standard price of £24.99 is not bad, given how much players could potentially get out of it.
