Cat Quest II Reviews
Whether you play alone or with a second player, Cat Quest II is an outstanding action RPG with a great sense of humour.
If you didn’t much enjoy the first Cat Quest, there’s not much to tempt you into the sequel; it’s very much more of the same. But if you did enjoy Cat Quest, then that should be music to your ears. It’s everything you loved, but just more of it.
Cat Quest II is a fun romp, but the thrills on offer are a bit shallow.
Cat Quest II is a good co-op RPG that can be enjoyed in short sessions with a close friend or family member. The simplicity of the game’s combat coupled with its little RPG nuances makes it an interesting experience for both casual gamers and fans of the genre.
"Cat Quest II feels like the perfect game for a parent and child to play together."
Cat Quest II is relatively short, but I’d argue it’s as long as it needs to be. I didn’t feel a need to break from the adventure solely for the sake of grinding, and I finished before I grew bored of the simple gameplay loop.
Cat Quest II: The Lupus Empire could be easily summarized as more Cat Quest, but that alone wouldn't encompass how fun the game is or its many improvements.
Overall, Cat Quest II is a fantastic adventure that's easy to recommend for players of any age.
Lovely, charming, with enough simplicity to offer creative freedom and expression. Cat Quest II is a must for those looking for relaxing and cute moments and some great coop action.

The JOY of this game is directly related to your ability to laugh at simple and foolish things. The game's cuteness, vocabulary, story, references, and jokes are there to bring you that innocent smiles while you play. CAT QUEST II is a CASUAL RPG. Simple, easy and fun. A great game to introduce new and young players to the RPG genre. The only UNBALANCED thing on the game is the number of items vs its content. The game seems short to the number of weapons and gear you can equip. You can complete the game with no need of using half of it.
At the end of the day, Cat Quest 2 is top of the line when it comes to offering classic mechanics to those newer to gaming. You won't be able to jump from The Witcher 3 to this and enjoy it, but it's a great title to enjoy with a younger member of the family.
Charming, adorable, and delightful, Cat Quest 2 offers a solid adventure-RPG romp. Sadly, it's best played in short bursts due to repetitiveness, and you're bound to seek help from another player since the AI teammate can be downright incompetent.
A great improvement from the first game, with more gameplay features and cat puns this time.
Cat Quest II inhabits the same world as its predecessor, though stars different characters and locations, and those familiar with Cat Quest will discover the experience has not substantially differed in its sequel. The same action-RPG gameplay abounds in the new entry, with plenty of dungeons, collectibles, and pet-related puns to keep you busy with light-hearted fun for a few hours. Unfortunately, if you’ve already play Cat Quest or are not a fan of action-RPGs, there may not be a lot of substance in this feline frenzy to feast upon.
I highly recommend Cat Quest II for anyone who likes RPGs and wants a relaxing time. This title is cute, its graphics are fantastic, and it can be enjoyed with a friend. And there will be no fighting over which is better between cats or dogs because there is both.
While I enjoyed my time with Cat Quest 2, a bit more depth all around would have been "purr-furred." Perhaps the developer's hints of updates to come will remedy this oversight sufficiently.
Welcome to a land full of adventure and vicious foes. You play the role of two kings who must take back their lands from Lioner the Purrsecutor and Wolfen the Labrathor. A world where cats and dogs reign supreme and have battled for years over an ancient sword. Felingard the land of the cats and Lupus Empire, land of the dogs, lay full of riches and gear. Explore dungeons, collect top gear and magics.
Cat Quest II is a really good game and a sequel that surpasses the original game in many aspects.

Cat Quest II has everything that made the first game so enjoyable. It has added co-op and a few new features that make it different enough for returning players to enjoy while maintaining its charm and great style. It's fun, simple and fun for everyone, while the art style and animations are to die for and a lot of players will fall in love with it. It's a breath of fresh air in the overcrowded role-playing game genre and is a delightful experience to savour.
Cat Quest 2 is larger in map size and has added a co-op mode, but almost every other part remains untouched since 2017's original title. That being said, adding doggo to the story line, has made it funner and fluent combat and puns are still there. Altogether, Cat Quest 2 is a good option if you're into light RPGs.
