Ring Fit Adventure is by far the best fitness game of the last years. The hardware makes perfect use of the joy con capabilities and it works surprisingly good in the different exercises. The game loses its grip a bit after some time but besides that it is probably the best way for your upcoming workouts during the cold winter months.

I can rightly say that the Ring Fit Adventure is probably the best fitness game so far that console players can buy. In the past there were a lot of things you could already burn calories with, but they weren't as fun as this great piece of software. So if you want to take care of your fitness a little more and are not averse to the role-playing genre, you should definitely get this title. Even I now train regularly every other day and that will probably remain so until I am through with the story. However, you should keep in mind that you shouldn't expect proper strength training, more like endurance training. But the playful access to fitness is very successful in my opinion!

It would be easy to dismiss it merely as a novelty, as other peripheral-based games certainly have been in the past. But that would be doing a disservice to the ingenuity with which the designers have found a way to get players to try out a workout routine and, even more impressively, stick to it.

In that sense, Ring Fit Adventure simply hits it out of the park and never looks back. I couldn't believe how well it scaled to my needs, which Nintendo deserves a lot of praise for. Spectacular stuff through and through.

The developers of Ring Fit Adventure have really thought outside the square and have delivered an enjoyable yet interesting fitness game that actually works. It's not clichéd or forced like some other console fitness games but one that uses the Ring to truly immerse you into the game that tracks your movement and in essence, turns it into real-world exercises… but more enjoyable! It's gaming meets exercising!

The RPG element has been overblown, but it provides just enough incentive for you to get up and move. More importantly, it's engaging enough to keep you on top of it well after you'd've lost interest in other exercise apps. The Ring-Con itself is a quality accessory that's easy to use, and the whole package provides mostly accurate readings and feedback.

With its very efficient Ring-Con and a funny RPG game, Ring fit Adventure is a brilliant way to workout without even noticing it. If there is motivation, and a lot of space, you'll be able to do what you want to, at your own pace, with a few smiles. A very pleasant successor to Wii Fit, indeed.
