WWE 2K20 Reviews
It’s clear that WWE 2K20 needs a lot more time in the oven. The departure of Yukes has clearly had an effect on the series’ annual development, an effect that publisher 2K should have realised and accounted for. Even with the countless bugs and crashes, there’s still a soul here that’s hard to extinguish and for all its faults, at least we know the bigger company is to blame.
Perhaps as much as anything else, we feel angry at WWE 2K20 for robbing us of precious time as we circle the swirling vortex of death. It's completely bewildering that a game of this magnitude has been released in such a state, and whether you want to pin the blame on outgoing developers, poor management, or a rushed development cycle, there is absolutely no denying that this title needed more time in the oven. We initially wondered why 2K weren't that keen to send us their latest WWE title, but after playing one of the highest profile flops of 2019, we're starting to understand why.
WWE 2K20 plays like a work-in-progress demo that's yet to be stress-tested - but there's a decent game somewhere under the hot mess.
WWE 2K20 is one of the most broken games in the franchise, and it shows.
WWE 2K20 features a lot of modes and a full WWE roster but that's all you get in the game. If you want to enjoy the game, you have to get along with numerous technical issues, forget about any online feature, and get used to the awkward narration of MyPlayer.
WWE2K20 left the gameplay behind while trying to focus on delivering diverse content, it's a technical disaster and a huge setback for the franchise.

If you must. catch the cutscenes from the bonkers MyCareer mode on Youtube. If you need a new wrestling game to play, seek out Fire Pro Wrestling World or CHIKARA: Action Arcade Wrestling. This way, you have a chance at playing a well-made game and will be supporting publishers that don’t see their player base as mindless ATM machines
While there’s plenty to do in WWE 2K20, it’s just too painful to bother trying right now.
WWE 2K20 is a calamitous new entry in the wrestling franchise.
As it stands now, WWE 2K20 is in fact a faded copy of its predecessor.

The debut of Visual Concepts alone with WWE 2K20 has not gone as well as we expected, with a very continuous title regarding modes and content, and with many flaws at the graphic level. But if you are a fan, you' ll find a game with a lot of content and many hours of fun.

2K's latest grappler is a largely miserable experience that even the most diehard wrestling fans shouldn't think twice about passing up.
Please don't publish - WWE 2K20 is the Botchamania of wrestling game.

I look forward to the WWE games, but I think WWE 2K20 would have been better served skipping a year and getting more time to work through its issues.
After several patches and months of waiting this may, possibly, become a halfway decent wresting game, but at launch this is the gaming equivalent of Doink the Clown.
A shameful disaster which fits only the loosest standards of "fit for sale."
I would rather swim through a pile of Kane’s sweaty undies than play another match in this game.
WWE 2K20 is a broken game that is one of the worst wrestling video games made to date, plagued by technical issues and boring game modes.
WWE 2K20 is rotten on the inside and broken at its core. It fails at doing many fundamental things properly, which actively take away from the experience. Then there's the fact that it does't improve upon any of the ideas of its predecessor – and in some cases, actually takes them a step back – and that it's an absolute technical mess riddled with bugs and plagued by bland, sub-par visuals.
