Disgaea 4 Complete+ Reviews
If you are not followers of the saga, the difficulty curve can be very hard for more than one, especially at lower levels, which is a great handicap. In short, Disgaea 4 Complete + will offer us a deeper and more fluid tactical RPG experience through its more than 30 characters and its multiple hours of gameplay.

There is a reason Disgaea 4 is widely considered the second-best game in the series. The story is endearing, this cast of characters is lovable, the gameplay is extremely refined and the sardine jokes are amusing.
Another great and content-packed SPRG lands on modern platforms.
If you’re a fan of grinding, and I mean the fun kind of ‘I wonder how far I can take this’ grinding, then you’re going to LOVE Disgaea 4 Complete+.
Really, either of the three Disgaea games are worth picking up, but I definitely felt 4 was very close to 5 in terms of quality. The story may have not engaged me nearly as much here, but the speed of the battles and overall enjoyment factor was just as fun, so this still leaves Disgaea 4 Complete as a great entry in the franchise. Just don’t expect this to have anything too terribly unique. Here’s hoping Disgaea 3 Complete becomes a reality soon, so that I and other newcomers to the franchise will get to experience all five main entries on modern platforms!
The post-game content can be a complete nightmare for clueless newcomers because Disgaea 4 demands you to learn its systems in-depth so that you can break them in your favor. That being said, with lovable and quirky characters, amazing voice-acting, great writing, and excruciatingly complex gameplay, Disgaea 4 Complete+ is a dream come true for strategy game fanatics.
It’s hard to recommend a game such as Disgaea 4 Complete+, as it’s the sort of game that you either love or hate – there really is no in-between.
Whether it’s your first time getting to see the glorious adventure of Valvatorez, Fenrir and Fuka, or the third or fourth time, it’s an adventure that doesn’t get old. Because of its initial HD treatment, Disgaea 4 Complete+ feels just as refined as it did upon its original release. While some may find it a little harder to get back into after the vast changes into Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance or the Complete version, for me? It’s going to be really hard to de-thrown this tale of politics and sardines from the throne that it currently sits upon.
Despite being the second enhanced port of the game, Disgaea 4 Complete+ is yet another proof of why, despite all these years, D4 still is the best game of the franchise so far. Its absurd and funny story captures the essence of everything that the series represents and the well refined combat system contributes to make this title still one of the exponents of its genre.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ is one of the best entries in the Disgaea franchise. It has an enchanting story with memorable and remarkable characters that make this game a very good choice for those SRPG players that seek an engaging story. It also offers a very deep and complex balanced combat system that makes it an excellent choice for fans. This complexity can make the game a bit inaccessible for newcomers. I can recommend this game to anyone who likes Tactical Role-Playing Games.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ is a vast game and one that any fan of tactical RPGs should play. There’s no need to play the other titles to enjoy this one, so if this is your first time playing the series, then you’ll be experiencing one of the best.
If you played Disgaea 4 on PS3 or haven't played it at all, the Nintendo Switch version is definitely worth getting.
There's nothing inherently wrong with Disgaea 4 Complete Plus, aside from the high price requested and the complete lack of new content. What's left is a competent and very long running SRPG.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ is a fantastic game, though its off-beat sense of humor is not going to appeal to everyone. Also, while there are some pretty traditional mechanics in its gameplay, there are some pretty unusual ones too (throwing Prinnies!). This update does not really bring much of anything new to the table in terms of the presentation, but having all of the content and a few design tweaks certainly make for a better, more complete overall experience. If, like me, you have not played Disgaea 4 in a while now, or you never have but enjoy the strategy / RPG genre, there is ample reason to give Disgaea 4 Complete+ a go.
While Disgaea 4 is in many ways more of the same from the tactics franchise, its unique story, premise, characters and wonderful variety make it extremely fun to put hours upon hours into.
GREAT - On the Switch it just doesn’t get much better for tactical JRPGs. This is one of the best in the Disgaea series and shouldn’t be missed. In some ways I’m glad I passed it over the first time around because now I get to experience it as a brand new game on the Switch, where I can play it anywhere I like.
If I didn't have a pub's worth of RPGs on the Switch already to deal with, I could see myself putting thousands of hours into Disgaea 4 Complete+. The story is a blast, and the combat is addictive enough while also being a nice change from the huge maps of Three Houses. Right now, D4 is the best bet if you're looking for some humor to go along with your strategy, dood.
Although Disgaea 4 Complete+ isn't a substantial upgrade to the previous iteration, what's here is still a fantastic SRPG.
Disgaea 4 Complete+ has everything a tactical RPG fan wants, including a can of sardines. The humorous dialogue, enjoyable characters, and the sheer amount of content make the game difficult to put down. Plus, the port job to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 was done remarkably well, so the game looks and runs great. In short, it’s an excellent game for on-the-go or at home and one of the best tactical RPGs today, dood!
SRPG fans have limited choice on Nintendo Switch and this is where the Disgaea series truly shines. Disgaea 4 Complete Plus might not be a new game, but it doesn't need to be one. It has the perfect blend of everything from the likable cast, addicting gameplay, to a deep customization and combat system.
