Zombie Army 4: Dead War Reviews
Zombie Army 4 is a fine end to the series.
If you’re in the market for some unabashedly thrilling zombie slaying, Zombie Army 4: Dead War has it in spades.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War isn't the perfect Left 4 Dead successor fans have been champing for, but it's one of the better attempts to date. What the game lacks in raw thrills, it makes up for with depth, challenge, solid tech, and devil-may-care craziness. If you're not already tired of co-op zombie shooters, there's a heck of a lot of fun to be had taking on Hitler's hellish hordes.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is an absolute riot of a title that is just as cheeky as it is fun to play.
In the right circumstances, a good title should tell you everything you need to know.
We can't get enough of wanton 4-player zombie slaughter, and Zombie Army 4 sits among the best of them.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a surprisingly solid Switch port of one of our favourite Rebellion titles thus far. There's a ton of zombie Nazi-slaying sweetness to get stuck into here and, although the graphics have taken a hit and the frame rate has been halved in comparison to other platforms, what's here is eminently playable in both docked and handheld modes. Whether you're taking on Hitler's undead hordes alone or with a few friends in tow, this one's a ton of schlocky B-movie fun that gets a great big thumbs up from us.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is the best episode of the saga, a fun and well-made cooperative experience.

A great take on a classic genre.

Ultimately, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is just a hoard mode game. Even if there is a story and missions, most stages ultimately turn into some version of fighting off waves of enemies.
The Sniper Elite series has been a pretty consistent source of stealthy Nazi body count accumulation on the Switch, and now that same base engine has been pointed a significantly more deadly version of that same classic threat… in the form of zombies!
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a game that answers the question "What would have happened if Hitler had an army of zombies?" No one has ever asked that question, but this game is so much fun that it doesn't matter. If you're a fan of zombies, it's a must check it out.

One thing is certain about this game, you will have fun. After all, isn’t that what video games are supposed to be?
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a blast in cooperative play, and a welcomed expansion to this spin-off series showing that it can stand on its own just fine.
An improvement on its predecessors in just about every conceivable way. Zombie Army 4: Dead War offers one of the 'gamiest', most carefree and satisfying shooting experiences of recent years. Technical bugs and a lacklustre horde mode prevent this from reaching its full potential, but it's just so hard to stay mad at a game that's this much fun.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War continues to be extremely fun in coop mode, with more refined gameplay for your style rather than just using what it was previously inspired on. The progression system is a great find and encourages you to continue playing even more, however, the main campaign still lacks a narrative that better develops its content.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is the kind of game designed to allow you to switch off and engage your trigger fingers, mowing down entire armies of the undead and cracking a smile when you see a bullet explode through a Nazi's skull. Hitting the sweet spot between catharsis and challenge, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is an absolute thrill.
