Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts Reviews
A stealth shooter that covers well-trodden ground and offers few surprises but will please fans of the genre with its manageable length and fair price.
If you’re looking for an okay FPS sniping experience, SGW Contracts is not a bad choice, but it leaves a lot of room for growth.
If you go into this title knowing exactly what you are getting and have no issues with a shooter that has a slower approach, then there is plenty to enjoy here.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts is a soft reboot that retools some of the series' defining aspects but has significant problems that hold it back from giving the series the rebirth it wanted.
For the first time, this franchise shows up some impressive sniper experience and the weapon system is interesting. But with the mediocre graphics and storyline, as well as some noticeable bugs, it's not so satisfying to play the game for a long time.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts’ refined gameplay delivers not only the best entry in the series but the best sniping experience to date
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts excels in the art of sniping, but doesn't offer anything else.

It's easy to get lost in the pleasure behind clearing an entire fortress in Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. While the overall story isn't compelling, the gameplay is gripping.
For now, it’s still a recommendation, albeit a recommendation that comes with some caveats.
Definitely worth playing, especially with the relatively cheap £30-£35 pricetag. It's so well presented before you step foot into the first level that I expected more from the in-game content. It goes to show that you can't judge a book by the cover, though it does a lot right, it doesn't truly push any boundaries or stand out from the crowd enough to make it an essential purchase.
Some sound and physics shenanigans don't stop this from being a fun, if occasionally frustrating, game that goes towards redeeming CI Games for the previous game's missteps.
After Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 CI Games has come back strong with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. It feels like a reinvention of the series, and if this is the starting block that is built upon in further releases, I’m in.
It's on-brand for the Sniper Ghost Warrior series to see its latest game quietly launched, but also like its titular sharpshooter, it ends with a bang.
Sniper in Hitman style with suit from Crysis - it works! Just AI and maps should be improved.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is very fun and sniping in this game is excellent. however, missions are repetitive and the game is not that advanced technically.

As it is, there's more than enough of the sniping action to see the game over the line, but at times the successes of Contracts do feel like they come despite the development team's best efforts.
It isn't extraordinary, but Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts is a solid game. The majority of the gunplay is basic, but it pales in comparison to the attention paid to the sniping and the variety of gun mechanics. The enemy AI works fine even if they sometimes act dumb, and the environments make the missions more interesting. The lack of polish in a few parts of the presentation and some interesting quirks bring down the game, but overall, Contracts is worth checking out if you can temper your expectations.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts alters the course of this honed-in franchise to offer a tighter and more customizable sniping experience. It doesn't iron out all of the issues and lacks big innovations, but it's a solid fix for fans of the genre.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is definitely the best entry in these series yet. It is like a hybrid game between the linear play of first 2 games of series and open world experience of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and it compltely feels right. Of course there are many technical problems and story-telling issues, but 5 beautiful different maps, Various contracts, nice gameplay elements and effective upgrades, make Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts a really fun game. If you like to have an amazing proffesional sniper experience and feel like a ghost assassin, then Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is the best option you have.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is fun but feels less polished than Sniper Elite 4. The missions can be fun, but somehow they are less interesting overall than the storyline of its biggest competitor. Thanks to its ideas and setting the game proves to be fun, while the level design manages to make it immersive. Although the ideas are held back by several technical difficulties, the combination of stealth and sniping makes from Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts the first solid entry of the series.
