Final Fantasy VII Remake Reviews
A remake 23 years in the making. It helped to make Final Fantasy one of the most instantly-recognizable franchises in the world. In many respects, this stunning game does things even better than anticipated, but a few mis-steps along the way cause it to slip up.
Whether you’re a series die-hard or a newcomer, Final Fantasy VII Remake is a must-have.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is beautiful, entertaining, and enjoyable to play, and at times, it improves upon the original game. However, the game moves in a direction which is worrisome, messy, and disappointing. I believe that still the best way to experience Final Fantasy VII is to play the masterpiece that came out in 1997

I wanted to love Final Fantasy VII Remake. I really did. These are characters and worlds that I grew up loving and genuinely caring about. But after finishing the main campaign and a majority of the side quests, I’m left wondering: why all the praise?
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a helluva ride, and whether this is your first foray into the world of Final Fantasy of you’ve been an FF fan for decades, there should be plenty here to like.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a fantastic first attempt at recreating what made the original so special, but the price of its ambition shows with a lack of polish in some areas.
In the end, Final Fantasy VII Remake is a massive achievement. While its final chapter will likely stir controversy, everything that comes before it is some of the best gaming around.
Confession time, I've never fully played the original Final Fantasy VII. Yet Final Fantasy VII Remake kept me engaged through inventive combat, great world-building, and an approach to narrative that made me care about these characters that most players probably grew fond of over 20 years ago. Midgar is a delight to visit in all of its fully realized glory, with tons of areas to explore and even more things to do in it. In finding the balance between tradition and innovation, the game walks a delicate line. While it sometimes stumbles, it otherwise pulls it off elegantly.
I don't know if I enjoyed Final Fantasy VII Remake as much as I was fascinated by it. The game is bound to divide fans and newcomers, but it's the kind of experience that's going to be dissected for decades to come - much like the original.
This remake is a chance for those who have yet to play FFVII to learn what it’s about and why it’s one of the most iconic games of all time. This reimagination of FFVII is what I believe the fans have always thought FFVII would be deep inside them.
The quality of this product is good in itself, but what makes it special is the name it carries. What happened to the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes are likely to happen for the next part (or maybe parts as well) of Final Fantasy VII; The hype surrounding the game is slowly running out, and now the creators have to work harder to impress the audience. Again, the Final Fantasy VII remake is really high, but it's unfair to say that our many years of waiting for it have had no effect on our surprise at the final product.

The remake of the 7th Final Fantasy is an awesome game and it would be an excellent if it hadn't been for a few mistakes. The story changes are just in place, the battle is smooth and the visuals are breathtaking. If you've never played any title and wanted, the Seven is the ideal entry title. The game takes a recommendation of 9 out of 10. It is simply a breathtaking experience that combines Eastern and Western elements better than most games.

The game flips the script on the very idea of nostalgia being the only guiding creative force behind a remake.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake is a beautiful modernization of one of gaming's most beloved RPGs of all time. It preserves what made people fall in love with the game in the first place, while flawlessly bringing other aspects into the modern age.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a dream that finally came true. A dream that not only is precious to die hard fans of the series, but also opens a beautiful door to those who never experienced a Final Fantasy game before.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a fan's wet dream come true. It takes everything that has made the original game memorable and expands on it beautifully. It has the potential to become the best Final Fantasy game released this generation, but it is not exactly flawless.
As a result of magnifying such a comparably miniscule portion of play, the pacing in the remake lumbers. Still, the prospect of leaving planet Earth for a few hours comes at a premium in our present moment.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is beautiful, a ton of fun, and manages to bring one of the jRPG classics up to modern standards with few issues.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is the experience fans have been waiting for.
