A unique and charming puzzle game, The Pedestrian may not break any boundaries in the genre, but its charming gameplay and unique aesthetic elevates it against its rivals.

There's more to The Pedestrian than meets the eye, but its best parts are the simple, obvious pleasures it offers.

The Pedestrian is a bright and addictive puzzle game with great music, but only when you play it in small sessions. This project will be perfect in a portable format when Skookum Arts finally releases it for iOS and Nintendo Switch.

The Pedestrian is a charming game that asks you to puzzle your way out of the dimensional bounds of street signs.

Novel presentation and a masterful complexity curve, but The Pedestrian's very shy about storytelling.

The Pedestrian is a beautiful game that permeates with ingenuity. Each area is brimming with ideas and these are suitably positioned to not overwhelm the gamer. Due to its design, players of any skill level will be able to jump on and enjoy this unique title. Unfortunately, there are a few road bumps along the way and the conclusion of the subtle narrative is a bit of a dead-end but this doesn’t take away from the incredible journey across the city.

The Pedestrian is a very accomplished puzzle game. With a very creative premise, a genuine surprise of a twist and a unique atmosphere, the whole experience is pure pleasure. Its levels are very well designed and presents a unique and captivating take on 2.5D environments. I just wish it challenged me more and it had more replay value. All in all, The Pedestrian ends up being a contained and relaxing experience, which may be ideal for this troubled start of the year.

The Pedestrian is a competent puzzle game, perhaps a little short, but with a personality and intensity that you don't normally see in this type of title. Recommended for anyone who enjoys puzzle games and wants something fresh and different.

The Pedestrian is a rewarding puzzle game with well-made brain busters that challenge the likes of Portal. This was originally a Kickstarter campaign, so if you’ve made the initial $15 investment to back the game, you should know that your money was well-spent. If you’re looking to pick this up on Steam, $20 is an appropriate price. The only barrier to being worth much more is the overall short length of the game. In case it’s unclear, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of The Pedestrian.

Even with its unfortunate dip in visual quality from time to time, that aside, a lot of the points held against Skookum Arts can be admittedly put down to personal aspirations not met, rather than some fundamental flaw the game is undeniably guilty of.

Ultimately, it delivers exactly what I desire from games in its genre: a brain busting experience that challenges the limits of my creative problem solving skills without exhausting them.

While The Pedestrian is a great puzzle platformer, it's not perfect. Probably the most noticeable absence in the game is a hint system. The puzzles can get extremely difficult at times, becoming borderline frustrating even. Additionally, another missed opportunity is in the game’s use of the touchpad. While pressing the touchpad works as the interact button, the cursor cannot be controlled by sliding your finger over it. This nitpick might not affect many players, but it’s still an odd exclusion. Minor frustrations aside, The Pedestrian is a fantastic puzzle-platformer that stands out from the crowd. For those looking for a unique pick-up-and-play experience, it's well worth the investment.

An ingenious, colourful, and gloriously framed platform puzzle game that effortlessly blends 2D puzzles with the 3D world that surrounds them.

The Pedestrian is a small playground full of clever and creative puzzles that aim to put the player to think, but without the frustration of complex or unrealizable challenges. The game features an abstract and short narrative with an unexpected twist that is intrinsically linked to its charming 2D and 3D atmosphere, with colorful visuals and an engaging soundtrack. Even with its low replay factor, the title from Skookum Arts is a joyful experience and recommended to all audiences.

The Pedestrian is a cute puzzle game like no other. It excels in several ways, be it the visuals or just the idea of the game itself. The only downside for me is the length, but it's up to each of you to decide how long you want to deal with the tricky puzzles. I myself enjoyed this game a lot, although I have to admit to the occasional twitch of nerves from being stuck for a long period of time in a complete mess.

The Pedestrian tries to challenge its audience by designing creative puzzles. If you are going to spend a few hours solving puzzles and using your geometric intelligence and at the same time listening to soothing music, do not miss the experience of this game in any way.

If you’re in the mood to play a unique puzzle game with an interesting concept and beautiful visuals, The Pedestrian is for you. Although the game gets trickier and more complex the further you get, you never feel like it’s an impossible puzzle; you can solve everything if you take your time and plan ahead – making this accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. The main PS5 upgrade has to be the immersive haptic feedback in the controller, but the sharp, clean, and colourful visuals also help define just how polished and special this game truly is. The only negative I can think of is that I was left wanting more, I could happily spend many more hours lost within this world as I try to escape.
