Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle Reviews
Back in 2017, a couple of Bayonetta games were released on PC and this Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle includes both games, added in some fixes and additional elements with Korean localization and then re-released after 10 years since the original. The gameplay does not disappoint even compared to some of the modern action games and if you play through the easier modes, the gameplay experience will still be at its best form for those who may lack any advanced control scheme of the game. They may have not added new contents for the modern consoles but the affordable pricing for two games in one is already a decent value as a bundled package.

Unsurprisingly, the improved version of Bayonetta brings rich combat system with decent number of combos, many interesting enemies and a great story. Moreover, it boasts on better resolution and higher FPS. All that glitters is not gold, and so Bayonetta suffers of outdated visuals which would really need a change. Nevertheless, the title's core still entertains.

Sega gave us an excellent virtual gift that shouldn't pass by any fans of adrenaline filled action games and the PlatinumGames portfolio. The timeless gameplay of Vanquish and Bayonetta both speaks for itself and feels modern even now.

Aside from lacking any new content and the slightly roughness of Vanquish's presentation, Platinum Games 10th Anniversary Bundle is well worth the purchase for those who missed either of these classics. Returning fans will be undoubtedly disappointed by the bare minimum that has been given to both games, but that should not deter those who have not experienced the splendour of two of the most energetic and invigorating 3D action titles of all time.
There really isn’t much else included in this package. No special features, just a 4K coat of paint and a steady frame rate. Still, it is hard to believe it has been ten years since these games released. They are good enough to feel like modern games. The art styles have held up, and revisiting them has been nothing but pure joy. The package is worth the $40,and being able to buy them separately just means it is easier to jump into two of Platinum’s finest works. Do not hesitate, grab these games now.
You can't really go wrong with this collection. You get two fantastic games that still hold up today at a fantastic price. If you are a fan of Platinum Games now, you owe it to yourself to check out these older titles. The only shame is that Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo exclusive and Vanquish never got the sequel it deserved.
“The overall package provides great value with two amazing titles and hours of fun. It’s a must have for any collection”
The port to PC and current consoles have definitely breathed some new life into these two games. Very minor issues do not plague otherwise excellent ports!
Bayonetta & Vanquish 10TH Anniversary Bundle is a worthy compilation, giving both games the standard of the current generation. However, its "anniversary" nature makes it feel a little sketchy by not offering any additional content. They are the games that came out in 2009 and 2010 improved technically, without more. Two unmissable masterpieces, but that does not seem to demonstrate the affection that people have for them.

If you've never tried Bayonetta and Vanquish before, the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle can definitely be a great way to do it, but if you've tried these titles in the past and on other platforms, the new remake package, Doesn't bring you any specific point or content. With all these interpretations, the existence of two names "Bayonetta" and "Vanquish" in the eighth generation on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles are amazing.

Vanquish is still one of Platinum most interesting games. In the Anniversary Edition of the game, we not only see improved graphics but also a better performance that was a big problem of Vanquish last generation.

If you haven’t played either Bayonetta or Vanquish, now’s the best time. Despite the visuals showing their age at times, both games play brilliantly on an Xbox One X. Most importantly, the action is just as thrilling now as it was back in 2010.
Even a decade on, both still feel so unique, so special, so Platinum, that it’s hard not to be excited for whatever the studio is working on next.
Despite definitely showing their age in some respects, both Vanquish and Bayonetta hold up extremely well against modern counterparts when it comes to the pitch perfect gameplay. If you missed either of these titles upon their initial release, there's really no excuse to not give them a look in if you're even slightly a fan of the third person action genre.
Playing these titles does not get stale and while it is frustrating that Sega refused to celebrate these classic games with more extras and additional content, they do stand on their own merits even a decade later.
Platinum Games’ Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is amazingly good value. While you will probably get more bang for your buck with Bayonetta, both are fantastic action games that hold up very well today. Sure, some gameplay features and plot aspects have not aged all that well over the last decade. However, if you are even a passing fan of action games, this bundle is a great way to experience how the company started.
Graphically, Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th anniversary bundle has not improved that much, other than being upscaled to 4K and 60fps. But the gameplay still feels fresh and there are not many titles currently on the market that can offer the same experience and quality.

Of the two games in the re-release pack, Bayonetta is the one that stands out the most, as it is easily the most fun. Shooter fans might have some fun with Vanquish, but anyone who likes action hack-and-slash titles such as God Hand or Devil May Cry should grab a copy of Bayonetta immediately, if not before.
These games are still two of the great ones but theses remastered could have done more.

As a collection, or individually, Bayonetta and Vanquish remain perfectly formed examples of PlatinumGames' exquisite mastery of action gaming. Here, in 4K, they've never been better.
