With all the different battle royale games on the market, all seeming to offer the same experiences, Warzone might give the most realistic, precise, and investing performance of them all, but it will need to stay innovative. Sounds of ricocheting bullets, footsteps of the enemy, and a highly detailed world keep it a cut above its competition. I easily found this to be one of my favorite battle royale games to date.

With Call of Duty Warzone, Infinity Ward firmly took hold of battle royale and confidently said: "This is how you do it." And then they kept going and made Plunder. And they wrapped it all in a package with a brilliant launch model, tearing down barriers of entry and making access to Warzone as seamless as possible for players new and old. Warzone blends Call of Duty and battle royale until you can't find the lines between the two; familiar ideas polished to a new industry standard for both.

Warzone silences all skeptics who gave battle-royale by declining genre. Infinity Ward introduces few but winning innovations that make their product perhaps one of the most complete on the market. Malloppo and Battle-Royale deserve two separate talks, but if we see the first as a simple extension of the second and not as a central element, Warzone reaches an evaluation close to perfection. Pay-to-win element as nonexistent as the genre has accustomed us.
