One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a game that fans of the famous series will admire as it captures the feel of the iconic characters powers and fighting style. Still, it's plagued by the usual shortcomings of the musou formula.

Making a mistake on a crossover between the Warriors franchise and one of the most iconic animes of all time is almost impossible and One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 shows why. The action in the battlefield is extremely fun, the bigger focus on certain arcs of the story is welcomed and the experience as a whole brings hours of great fun, even if it stumbles on its localization in portuguese.

If you are not a Musou fan, then One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is unlikely to convince you to be one, as it doesn't add anyhing specific to the genre. That said, it can he considered a good game when compared to other games in the exact same genre, and especially the fans of the One Piece anime will probably enjoy it.

If you are a fan of One Piece this is the game for you. Pirate Warriors 4 is an obvious improvement of previous iterations, sadly, with the same repetitive nature. Recommended if you are looking for action and destruction without complications, and above all, if you are a fan of One Piece.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 has the unusual honor of being both one of the best anime-based games and best Warriors games I've ever played. It has its flaws, including the tiresome return of Giant foes and the usual Warriors repetitiveness, but it's a great example of how to reinvigorate something that seems like a tired formula. If you're a One Piece fan or a fan of the Warriors franchise, PW4 is absolutely worth a go. Once you've taken a bite of gum-gum, you won't be able to resist more.

The game does not have anything special or unique about it except that it is set in One Piece World, but since it is an amazing world, and with the developer being able to make the fighting system fun, especially for the people watching the anime and wants to try the different abilities for each character since the game has a lot of characters, including some legendary ones.

Despite its flaws, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a great Muso title, and a decent One Piece game.

The new battlefields, improved combat system, and sheer action that goes on makes it every bit as much fun to run through those battles again, and One Piece has so much character and personality that the antics of Luffy and his crew never seem to get tiring.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 boasts a large cast of playable character and faithfully recreates the memorable moments from the animated show. Standing on its own, it should easily rival the best among its genre despite some flaws that have more to do with the nuisances of the genre itself.

I enjoyed my time with One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 yet it doesn't quite offer a wholly fresh and exciting gameplay formula. So, if you're happy with more of the same albeit with flashy visuals and cool special moves then you should give it a go.

Four wins! One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 cannot be described more appropriately, which has impressively become the best offshoot of the entire Warriors game series. With a variety of characters, a gripping staging and an adult look, Koei Tecmo skillfully manages to do justice to the pirate epic even in video game form.

Despite the lackluster amount of story arcs and some of the weird story and character cuts, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is still one of the best One Piece games that you can play today. Different and fun gameplay systems, an overwhelming amount of playable characters, some really good music tracks and detailed levels, have made Pirate Warriors 4 a must-have game for a long time One Piece or Musou fans. Even if you are not familiar with the source material and you are just looking for a fun action game, there is a good chance that you'll end up enjoying this game.

WORTH CONSIDERING - One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 lets you live out your wildest One Piece fever dream of crushing enemies as God Usopp, but the action grows stale after short time and after awhile you realize you’d much rather just be watching the anime again for the third time.
