While the Overcooked series is famously (or is it infamously?) known to many fans of local multiplayer I'll admit that I consider one of its weaknesses to be broad approachability...

Moving Out performs a seemingly impossible balancing act. It's both a challenging couch co-op physics puzzler, and yet it's completely accessible to everyone sat on that couch, regardless of their video game experience. Moving Out is fun, it's frivolous, it's joyful and it will have you laughing from beginning to end. Who could ask for more?

Moving Out is a friendship-ending comedy game about moving furniture at any cost. It's a riot in both its premise and writing with a sizable amount of things to do that'll keep you coming back for more wacky physics. While it's best enjoyed with friends, it can still be fun on your own.

While it’s great on your own, I’d imagine that those that can play the likes of Overcooked with loved one without wanting to murder them will be right at home.

Overall, Moving Out is a welcomed addition to one’s arsenal of co-op games. It’s not just a co-op, but a well-designed experience that puts a stress-relieving spin on a universally stressful experience.

Moving Out separates itself from the other games in the couch co-op landscape. It can be played casually, just get a bunch of your friends and you can breeze through the campaign with little to no problem, but if you decide to brave the hidden levels, your perseverance and skill will be rewarded with that Dark Souls-like euphoria that is very rare in video games. The special part is that you get to experience that feeling of euphoria together.

Moving Out will make you rethink hiring a moving company for your next move for two reasons. One, you will be utterly terrified of them destroying your furniture. Two, you will desire to do it yourself hoping it will be as fun as this game.

Moving Out offers a zany and fun approach to one of real-life’s most unenjoyable tasks, with its multiplayer orientated gameplay keeping me hooked in for hours on end. Honestly, if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends and family during this crazy lockdown, Moving Out will be perfect for you – its multiplayer-focus encourages you to work together, cause plenty of destruction, and laugh a ton along the way. It does have a few glitches here and there and its lack of online multiplayer is disappointing, but overall Moving Out is another multiplayer hit from Team 17 that gamers will DEFINITELY want to check out.

Moving Out is one of the best games that the couch co-op party game genre has seen and I implore you to play it, especially during the current times that we're going through. There was a moment where my girlfriend and I were quickly hurrying to carry our last few pieces of furniture to the truck, but kept running into obstacles (a level full of rakes), and what started as small giggles quickly evolved into uncontrollable laughter. It's these kind of moments that makes games like this a success, and Moving Out delivers greatly in this regard.

Couch co-op that's equal parts cathartic and chaotic. There's no better way to bond than by tossing a TV or two into oncoming traffic. Moving Out's charming, physics-based gameplay and equally quirky levels demand you bring a friend or three.
