If you are an old fan of the game, I sincerely recommend you to pick up this game and relieve one of the most iconic Call of Duty campaigns. And if you weren’t playing when MW2 was originally released and you know nothing about this game, I can only say: go get it NOW!
Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is a mostly commanding return of the game's classic single-player, though not without a few hiccups.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered looks fantastic thanks to the work Beenox has put into it. The story still holds relevance, and there’s some wonderful nostalgia to go along with it now. This is a game begging to be a more complete package with additional modes, that just aren’t here. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered comes in at a scant $20, and remains one of the best single-player experiences ever.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is a great upgrade to the campaign, at the same time this does come across as limited with it missing two huge components of what the game so unique upon its initial release.
The game is just as good as it was 10 years ago, and now looks even better.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is a beautiful yet unfulfilling remaster of one of the most legendary first-person shooters of all-time.
The unique characters and incredible gameplay guarantees players will not be disappointed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is the perfect opportunity for everyone to experience one of the best FPS ever released. The technical rework is incredible and updates the game to current times. Unfortunately, there is not much to do besides the campaign, and the replay factor is quite limited without a cooperative mode or its famous multiplayer mode.

With fully updated graphics and sound this remaster brings the original on par with current day, while keeping the original gameplay. While the choice to bypass the multiplayer alltogether, this version is a good choice for those that enjoy a story based FPS with a lot of action and all offers a fine chance for those that gave the campaign in the original a pass.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Campaign remastered is not only a mouthful, it’s great! I enjoy revisiting improved versions of games I loved years ago and I think £19.99 is an excellent budget price as well. If you didn’t play through this the first time around don’t expect the level of polish from last year’s entry to the series, but buckle yourself in for a thrill ride that rarely gives you a moment to breathe!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster is worth playing it again, or for the first time, thanks to its story. It is a good example of the good in the Call of Duty series. But, you also have to curb your enthusiasm and accept the fact that the remaster yanks the graphic in 2020, but not the gameplay. It is not continuing on the path of the reboot from last year, it is merely a remaster, but one that you should not miss.
You’ll have a great time with this Modern Warfare 2 remaster if you know exactly what you’re signing up for. You are getting the best version available of arguably the best campaign in the history of Call of Duty, and that’s basically it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is a fantastic update to one of the best FPS campaigns of all time
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered definitely brings back nostalgic memories without any of the toxicity.
Obviously my experiences with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (and you can bet that's the last time I'm typing that unwieldy title in its entirety) are affected somewhat by the fact that this was my first time playing through, but woowee boy, what a campaign it is.
For nostalgia, and to see a piece of media from a very different time, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is definitely worth the price of entry. A shockingly good Call of Duty campaign.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is an attempt to earn fast money in a problematic period for the industry, when most of the planet's inhabitants are hiding in their homes and apartments. You can finish the story campaign in just five hours, and there is no multiplayer. In addition, in Russia and Ukraine, the developers managed to spoil the story due to the removal of a mission critical to the plot, which, along with the average graphics and other problems of the project, is disappointing. The original MW2 deserves the same respect as the first Modern Warfare game.

As its unwieldy title suggests, unlike 2016's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered there are no multiplayer modes included which does make this an incomplete experience, although when its predecessor was resurrected its multiplayer lobbies were frustratingly sparse. Despite its testing difficulty spikes, Modern Warfare 2 is still an exciting, globe-trotting adventure which looks great on modern hardware.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered offers a refreshing take on the game’s enjoyable single player campaign, though it does feel a little dated with some elements of its design. I was actually pretty impressed by how slick Beenox managed to make a game from 2009 look and you’d be remiss not to think that it was designed for modern console from the ground up in places, whilst the constant 60fps frame rate ensured that it remained slick throughout too. Still, with the somewhat repetitive shootouts and dated gameplay mechanics, it’s clear that this is a Call of Duty game from the past. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is certainly worth re-visiting, but it’s clear that the series has hit all-new spectacular heights since this.
