Fury Unleashed Reviews
It’s comic book art-style looks like no comic I’ve ever seen, and its story is a massive missed opportunity that feels unfinished. It does what it does well enough, but despite a long early access, it still feels like a pencil sketch of what it could have been.
If Fury Unleashed does not really shine with the charisma of its universe and its artistic direction quite insipid, he offers a good game experience that offers good feelings. A nice release.

Its biggest problem then is that it's over all too quickly. Of course, rogue-lites are designed to be replayed over and over again. However, with just four comic books to work through, you'll see everything Fury Unleashed has to offer much quicker than you might expect.
In my honest opinion, Fury Unleashed is a fun game that stumbles to get the best part of roguelike games right.
Though not as expansive as some other bigger titles, Fury Unleashed is a superb little number that compels you to stay sharp and always attack. Do that, and the rewards mount up. But it does require constant attention and vigilance, which means it probably won’t suit those who like to sit back and have a relaxing adventure.
It took five years for Fury Unleashed to find its voice, but the wait was worth it.
Fury Unleashed is a step better than what you would expect from a generic-looking run-and-gun action game. Its intelligent premise and sheer adherence to fun in all its forms makes it a great game for unwinding or chasing that elusive feeling of flow. Say what you want about Fury and his two-dimensional escapades, but Awesome Games Studio had a clear vision for their game and executed it to an impressive degree of success.
On the other end of the scale are those who would not touch games like Dead Cells despite its gorgeous visuals. Those will consider Fury Unleashed a waste of time and not even the easier game mode might convince them otherwise. This mode is ideal for streamers as presented by the producers themselves, allowing them to focus not just on the game, but their audience as well. And this solution is brilliant since watching it played by someone who mastered the game mechanics, can make Fury Unleashed more fun than actually playing it.
The core mechanics of running and gunning while maintaining a high combo multiplier is satisfying, and taps into a primitive reptilian part of our brain. You feel eager to maintain the flow and the speed in which you move and range of abilities you get to kill, perfectly compliments the violent and irreverent tone.
Fury Unleashed doesn’t hold your attention for very long. This is a good thing. This isn’t the kind of game you play for days on end, perfecting your run. Rather, this is something to come back to every once in a while, when you’ve got a few minutes to kill.
Fury Unleashed brings you inside the world of animated comics and offers a gameplay that is a love letter to Metal Slug, Contra and the modern roguelite games.

Nonetheless, every time I returned to Fury Unleashed I found myself enjoying what I played. It's maybe not something that sucked me in and kept me glued to the screen until the end, but it entertained whenever I gave it a chance. For its price, it's a worthwhile diversion. I just wouldn't be surprised if nothing inside you gets unleashed.
Fans of the classic run and gun shooters will find plenty to enjoy in Fury Unleashed. Those who like roguelike elements will certainly appreciate the challenge and the unique combo system. It's not revolutionary, but it's an enjoyable experience that easy to pick up and play by yourself or with a friend.
Fury Unleashed is an intense action/rogue-lite game with a lot of weird and different enemies and bosses from many places and eras.It also has a surprisingly heartfelt story about self doubt and artists and it's core gameplay and mechanics are everything you'd expect from a game of this genre.

With a comic book-inspired look, a pretty wide array of over-the-top weapons, and challenges aplenty Fury Unleashed is a roguelike platform shooter with plenty of personality...
Fury Unleashed is a very enjoyable game that entertains, torments, but at the same time ends as quickly as it began. However, this is really a very good action 2D platformer that will find its place among players. In addition, the developers are very active and communicate with the community about new game modes and expansions.

Fury Unleashed offers a brutal and action-orientated romp that’s a blast to play both solo or with a friend, with the destructive gunplay and over-the-top showdowns with enemies proving to be mighty satisfying throughout. Admittedly, the tricky difficulty can be a bit off-putting early on, but there’s a rewarding sense of progress to the experience as you earn more skills and gear. Fury Unleashed is simply a really fun game to play and one that’s easy to recommend to all old-school action-packed shooting fans.
Fury Unleashed delivers fast-paced frantic action, creating a perfect mixture of genres, to deliver an expectational gaming experience! It has my full recommendation!
Roguelikes rarely feel as rewarding and enjoyable as Fury Unleashed and the fact that you can play it with a friend is a nice bonus.
Fury Unleashed is one of the best indie games of 2020, and one of the most excellent examples of the roguelite genre this generation. While it may be on the short side, this action co-op title should satisfy fans of Metal Slug and then some. Cool comic-inspired visuals, an inspiring story, and compelling moment-to-moment gameplay make this a stellar shooter.
