Valorant Reviews
Valorant delivers as a highly competitive FPS. From a pure design standpoint, Riot’s shooter stands tall on excellent gunplay, diverse agents, and balanced maps. This alone is enough to capture the attention of hardcore fans of the genre. It’s been clear in Riot Games communication that they are committed to responding to player feedback and using that to shape their development path. Valorant is already an insanely good game, but it’s poised to become a superstar of the medium in the years to come.
Valorant has already won over many esports and live-streaming stars and their millions of teen fans. If it can do what Fortnite and Overwatch have done and bring in more casual players as well, we will be talking about it for years to come.
Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

If you enjoy competitive tactical shooters, but also wish you could show some flair with spectacular abilities, then Valorant has what you're looking for. It requires precision aim to win duels but allows a lot of room to get creative with the agents' varied skills. Sloppy play gets punished harshly, but when a plan comes together it's immensely satisfying.
Going up against the likes of Overwatch and Apex Legends, Riot Games' new release is an intense FPS that's fun to play with friends but a challenge to master.
Valorant is likely to make a big impression on anybody that enjoys competitive shooters, even if it is a little light on content at the moment. Genre newcomers will need to stay patient to push past the initial difficulty curve, but its exhilarating combination of gunplay and agent abilities is accessible enough that reaping its rewards shouldn’t take too long.
Valorant is not original. Rather, it's a successful interpretation of and expansion on its inspirations, with impeccable gameplay, well-designed maps, and a dev team eager to refine it further.
Valorant offers fun in a simple but efficiently effective manner. Whether it’s getting used to an Agent and the abilities they offer, or the weapons that are available to use. The maps and modes allow each gameplay session to be extremely entertaining and fun as you and your teammates work on outsmarting your opponents.
Valorant is a great mix of well-known online shooter mechanics. The developers haven't created anything unique or special, but they have nailed the most important aspect - Valorant is really, really fun to play. An additional success - almost everyone has now heard about this game thanks to the controversial marketing.

Riot created Valorant to be the next big competitive first-person shooter. In our review, we discuss how Riot used hit games like CS:GO and Overwatch as inspiration to create a fun, competitive game that should last for years to come. While it has its pros, Valorant has some issues that prevent it from being the best it possibly can.
Valorant brings competition to FPS genre once again thanks to its innovative approach. It's one of the most enjoyable games I've played recently and it'll be a pleasure to follow Valorant's roadmap.

An exciting and fun shooter with a huge potential and a questionable monetization. If you don't care about cosmetics at all, you can add one point to the final score.

Right now, in its current state, Valorant is in a great spot for a free to play game. Sure, the lack of maps and grindy progression system can be off-putting, but the core gameplay here is phenomenal. A great twist on the Counter-Strike formula.
Valorant made a rather old game formula fun that even myself can't deny how delightful the sessions were. It manages to keep what makes the game fun and that's its core gameplay mechanics. So even if you're not a CS:GO veteran, worry not, because the skill-based matchmaking does its job right in placing you with players with the same level of performance and balances the teams.
Valorant doesn't stray too far from Riot Games' plethora of hero-focused titles. With the fusion of high-level gunplay and hero mechanics, Valorant is both highly competitive and unfortunately too highly skill focused for casual players to enjoy.
Valorant is overall a good game that still needs a lot of work and enhancements

Valorant hooks you match after match with tight, tactical gameplay, albeit in rather barebones fashion.
As a hardcore shooter fan since the '90s, Valorant feels very well designed, and provides me with a rush I haven't gotten out of so many other big genre games in the past five years. But Valorant feels like it was meticulously designed in a laboratory to fault. It's fitting given that Riot has over a decade of data and esports experience, but the sterile feel of it does impact my decision to play it more regularly.
