Ghost of Tsushima is one of my favorite games of the generation and a must play for anyone who loves open world adventures and Samurai lore.
Ghost of Tsushima is the best Assassin's Creed game there is, and likely the closest many users will ever get to experiencing what it's like to be a samurai in 11th century Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima is a riveting tale complemented by infinitely fascinating combat, inventive navigation mechanics, and arresting visuals, effortlessly earning itself a spot as one of the absolute best games released on the PlayStation 4.
The PlayStation 4 gets to bow out of this console generation in suitably epic fashion with this incredible title. Ghost of Tsushima sets a new standard in open-world action games with one of the best games of this generation or any other, for that matter.
The gameplay is fun, the narrative and its characters are great, and the art direction is absolutely beautiful. The pros here vastly outweigh the cons. Ghost of Tsushima is a breathtaking adventure.
This ronin rumble is a gaming masterpiece for the second half of 2020 and the perfect PlayStation 4 capstone title. Ghost of Tsushima is as close as you can get to the perfect Kurosawa tribute in modern interactive form.
Not only is it one one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played, but it’s probably the most immersive open world game I’ve ever experienced. This is a rare gem that is not only a piece of art, but also incredibly fun and satisfying to play.
Set on the small island of Tsushima just off the coast of mainland Japan in 1274, the game starts with the army of Tsushima charging the beaches to battle the 30,000 strong Mongolian invaders that have come to conquer their land. As you may have guessed this does not go to plan as the army of Tsushima is defeated with ease, and the Japanese ruler Lord Shimura is captured by Khotun Khan, a successful general and descendent of the legendary Genghis Khan.
Now that I’ve had a moment to catch my breath and collect myself, what I’m about to say will hardly come as a surprise to anyone. Get Ghost of Tsushima now, if you haven’t, and play it immediately if it’s on your backlog. It just holds up against the stiffest of competition in the PS4 generation of games, and may even exceed them by a hair. For now, I will be quietly praying for a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima is a gorgeous game that has Sucker Punch taking its shot at telling its own samurai story. The combat feels great; and you have a lot of freedom when it comes to building up Jin. It’s simply a stunning way to say goodbye to the PS4.
Ghost of Tsushima might just be one of the best games I have ever played. In a similar way to when I got stuck in to God of War or Horizon: Zero Dawn, I found myself asking why I waited so long to get it.
Undoubtedly, Ghost of Tsushima is the greatest game of the generation. With perfect storytelling, supremely satisfying combat, and an astounding world that's packed with content and gorgeous sights, it raises the bar for open world games.
Since inFAMOUS: Second Son (2014) we haven't heard anything from Sucker Punch and if we're honest, we were more expecting another inFAMOUS spin-off than this surprise. The setting can definitely be described as unspent and the realization is simply fantastic. Ghost of Tsushima has pretty much everything we could wish for in a title like this, impressive and contemporary presentation, great story, a lot to discover (including collectibles) and a decent amount. If we had to criticize anything, it would be the sometimes questionable enemy AI and a few tiny bugs (missing triggers for side quests), which were not visible after a restart of the game and will surely be fixed. Ghost of Tsushima is a terrific masterpiece, which you can definitely put on the "You have to played it" list.

With Ghost of Tsushima under its belt, Sucker Punch deserves to be in the same conversation as Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and Sony Santa Monica. If this generation is to wrap up soon, it's fitting that it'll end with Tsushima: one of its most beautiful games thus far.
It is easily one of the best games of the entire PS4 generation, and given its competition, that’s saying something.
Ghost of Tsushima is easily the biggest and most ambitious game Sucker Punch has ever undertaken. It's also the best game they've ever made. Akira Kurosawa would be proud.
Ghost of Tsushima is greater than the sum of its parts: it does not reinvent the wheel in any of its aspects, but offers an experience that will thoroughly entertain lovers of open world and oriental settings.
