Disintegration Reviews
There are a few sparks of a great game hidden deep within Disintegration. Sadly, none of those sparks ever manage to catch fire.
It's hard to understand why this game exists – even its publisher didn't bother to market it. Multiplayer died almost instantly, and its single-player campaign is full of same-y missions and boring environments.

It's astonishing to see just how far off the mark Disintegration is in terms of how it looks and plays.
While Disintegration promises a fresh take on the sci-fi FPS genre, it delivers an underwhelming experience with an incoherent storyline
. Disintegration does not feel up to scratch for a game releasing in 2020.
An interesting mix of first person shooter and real-time strategy, from the co-creator of Halo, but the chalk and cheese mix of gameplay elements never really gels.
An unsatisfying mix of shallow strategy and low-energy shooting, Disintegration is hard to recommend to fans of either genre.
Disintegration tried to come up with a new ideas and unique gameplay, while somehow it succeeded with that, it wasn't enough to make the overall experience enjoyable, as it came short in mostly everything else. Not to mention it's almost impossible to find multiplayer as of now, so you will not be able to get the full experience.

Disintegration is a dull experiment. Taking shallow replicas of two genres and squeezing them together results in a largely forgettable game that can hardly even be considered a curiosity. The technical issues and average presentation don't help matters.
Disintegration is a tactical FPS with good ideas, but a poor excecution.

The game's attempts to distinguish itself from other first-person shooters ultimately feel superficial.
The flaws in Disintegration's execution are easy to spot. Restrictive level design and a limp narrative hamper the single-player, while the multiplayer suffers from a dearth of content and no way to make the squad combat sing. Perhaps a sequel could expand on the genuinely good ideas V1 has brought to the FPS table. Disintegration is an interesting genre blend that ultimately falls short.
Disintegration is an innovative mix of FPS and RTS from one of the original creators of Halo, but it just can't live up to its promising premise.
Disintegration is not the next great sci-fi action franchise (as if we really need another), but hopefully, it can be a stepping stone to something more distinctive and unique from V1 in the future.
Some good points for effort but in the end, it's an unpolished mix of a shooter and strategy that doesn't do either of those two well.
Disintegration offers a mix of FPS and RTS from Halo co-creator but it lacks fun and good gameplay.

Disintegration is a game of would-have-beens.
Even though Disintegration has very enjoyable gunplay and the crew is very easy and useful to utilize, this doesn't give a pass to the inadequate graphics, the lack of unique enemies, the bugs, an unsatisfying ending, and many other elements of this game that with more time, could have been improved drastically. The game has a very cool concept of combining the first-person shooter genre with a real-time strategy game, but unfortunately lacks the necessity of an entertaining game to back the concept.
Overall, this was a solid effort that felt quite polished. Unfortunately, it’s missing the most important thing in video games—fun. Perhaps some updates could fix this, but it would take a creative overhaul to do so.
For a project with veteran people in the market, a small team, and being the studio's debut game, I think Disintegration was a good start for V1 Interactive but with points that deserve attention to please a larger audience. It also has a very cool science fiction narrative, with characters presenting strong and very characteristic personalities. I think it would even make a good series for Netflix. A new approach to gameplay mixing two very different genres, with a multiplayer mode which even if it doesn't have the best service, can improve, make this an interesting title for those who like new things..
