Fun, novel, and brimming with loot, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption is the best of Borderlands 3's DLC batch so far.
But it's not enough. Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood just tries to do so many things that it ends up becoming a cacophony of concepts. It's still Borderlands 3 though; which is always a plus.
Borderlands 3 continues its streak of solid content and addicting looting that is unfortunately dragged down by poor writing.
The hard thing about this expansion is, I liked it but I didn’t love it. There is enough to do to feel like it’s worth the investment but so much of it is forgettable.
Bounty of Blood takes the Vault Hunter on a East meets West adventure.
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood is arguably the most well rounded of the DLCs so far, with decent story, characters, environments, and mechanics, but it doesn't excel in any specific area
Bounty of Blood is a solid and highly-enjoyable DLC for the game and I look forward to seeing what the next DLC offers up.
More fun, guns, and loot await in Gehenna and Bounty of Blood, as Gearbox hits a home run with the best DLC to date for Borderlands 3.
