Rocket Arena is a blast with its unique take on explosive arena action, colourful cast and an ambitious game plan, albeit one that plays its payload cards a little too safely.

Rocket Arena has got all the elements to offer a pleasing multiplayer hero shooter experience, with nice characters, colorful and varied maps and a good base gameplay loop. It still needs some improvements though, especially in controls and usability and with more original modes.

Rocket Arena does what it promises. Final Strike Games delivered a shooter that feels different from the rest of what is available on the market thanks to original mechanics that make it a perfect mix between an arena shooter and a party game.

Rocket Arena might have some explosive potential as a casual 3v3 competitive shooter but the bright and colorful aesthetics and gameplay where no one dies and everyone's a winner have a major clash with the game's reliance on both twitch and precision aiming.

Rocket Arena is a clean, polished arena shooter. However, the novelty evaporates quickly despite its ostentatious candy coating

Rocket Arena is an energetic new take on the arena shooter that revels in and rewards skillful play with its projectile weaponry. There's breadth to the cartoony character line up, and while their varied weapons and abilities muddy the purity of the classic rocket arena concept, you'll quickly find a favourite and get to enjoy the frantic scrapping of the game's various modes.

Rocket Arena checks all the boxes regarding what games as a service need in order to succeed. It boasts frenetic gameplay, polished mechanics and a wide range of characters; this game will bring you amazing moments, even if it lacks innovative elements.

Ultimately, while it is fun in small doses, Rocket Arena feels itself like an alternate mode in a larger game. It's bright and colourful but as a standalone experience it feels a little too limited and imbalanced to lead the pack

Rocket Arena is a fine hero-shooter with a novel twist on the formula, and I absolutely dig its "World of Tomorrow" aethestic, but unless it drops the box price and goes free-to-play the competition will knock it out of the arena; that's just the nature of today's market.

Rocket Arena is a stripped-down online multiplayer 3v3 shooter. While there are only a few game modes at launch, they are fun – and EA says there are more on the way. A nice variety of characters keeps the action fresh, and the friendly atmosphere keeps the proceedings fairly cheerful. A great starter shooter for younger kids, but skilled players will also enjoy Rocket Arena quite a bit.

Rocket Arena is a fun and easy to learn shooting game. The fast pace of the game won't suit everyone but strengthens its identity. Despite lacking a depth of lore and strategy, the crossplay option can convince players to pay the price.

An accessible, lightweight competitive shooter. Though it's a little thin in its current state, this is a solid start for what will hopefully become a lively and dynamic game as its season pass gets underway.

Rocket Arena is a good game, a good shooter, but it suffers from what could be considered essential within the genre in which it is included. This does not mean that it is not a fun and totally enjoyable game.

Rocket Arena can be quite enjoyable at the beginning, but its derivative gameplay and rather banal game modes cannot keep the player engaged for a long time at the current state of the game.

In the ever-shifting hero shooter genre, Rocket Arena makes a name for itself as the family-friendliest of the bunch without sacrificing its competitive spirit.

Rocket Arena has a great number of customization settings and can be fun when played with friends. However, the lack of character's immersion, issues with matchmaking and expensive prices to buy the coins with real cash, take away the coolest part if you want to play it in an uncommitted way.

While the concept feels fresh some of the strongest points of this game are quickly forgotten by the lack of content, I would hardly recommend it since I don´t see much content coming in the near future

As I played Rocket Arena, my enthusiasm for its gameplay drained while the sterile nature of it all gradually reared its ugly head. There's certainly some fun to be had but you likely won't enjoy it for as long as its genre competitors.

Rocket Arena shows that there's more to multiplayer shooters than just military sims and battle royale games. Unfortunately, the unappealing progression rewards and lack of engaging content limit its potential.
