EA Sports UFC 4 Reviews
We recommend the game for only 5 points. It is an average title that just shows greed for money. The love for fans and the brand has probably completely disappeared.

UFC 4 is an overall enjoyable experience, but I feel it is hindered by the fact it is so similar to UFC 3. Anyone who has played UFC 3 before will not notice a whole lot different about the game other than the updated roster and stats.
EA Sports UFC 4 comes with a good revamped Career Mode and some new gameplay futures, however, the game lacks any truly new innovation alongside disappointing graphics loaded with microtransactions. huge similarity with UFC 3 that alot of times you’d think it’s just a big update for $60.

This year's iteration of UFC from EA Sports looks good, and feels good in parts - though the submission system just doesn't appear to be as much fun to play. The best parts of this game are the boxing and kickboxing elements, and the offline career mode is a fun mode to build and forge careers in. With really no other fighting titles to purchase this year, EA Sports UFC 4 will be unrivalled for those looking for another sports-like fighting game - and while UFC 4 is not a bad game, it doesn't do much to appeal to those who don't already have a love and appreciation for the sport or the brand.
EA Sports UFC 4 is a fun albeit bland fighting game.
EA Sports UFC 4 delivers some good fighting sensations, adds some interesting mechanics, but it feels like EA could have polished its Carreer Mode and added a few more things, like replacing Ultimate Team, to make it really better than UFC 3.

Everything is about the same as it was in UFC 3, but with some minor changes. Outdated graphics and animation may push new players away. UFC 4 is a game for fans, and they can add another point to the final score.

A competent and crunching MMA sequel that brings key improvements to the Octagon but stumbles when the action moves to the ground.
UFC 4 is the best MMA game to date, but that's partly because of a lack of competition from other developers. As is to be expected from a game that's part of a series, EA doesn't invent the wheel but improves gradually on its own formula. The evolution points, career mode, clinch possibilities and some other new features are nice, but is it enough to justify its price tag? We doubt it.

Overall, UFC 4 is an evolution, as opposed to a revolution.
EA Sports UFC 4 is a fun fighting game. It may not be the most innovative game, but it's solid from front to back, with plenty to offer to new and returning players alike.
UFC 4 brings some great new ideas to created fighters, online play, and clinch gameplay, but can't live up to its full potential with the end product.
EA UFC 4 takes a few steps forward with the changes in the fighting game but takes some back as well with the career mode which was bait and switched once again and barely has any significant upgrades.
EA Sports UFC 4 is obviously made by people with a true love and respect for MMA, but it's also pretty clear they didn't have a ton of resources to work with. The action is better than ever, but the flash and depth you expect from an EA Sports title is MIA. This year's UFC game comes out of its corner hot and provides a few exciting moments, but doesn't quite have what it takes to go the distance.
EA Sports UFC 4 is a fun return to form for EA Sports. With a simplified approach to fighting and the inclusion of a more in-depth career mode, the UFC franchise is on the right track to building better things.
The gameplay of UFC 4 is stellar and rewarding, but once the novelty begins to wear off, there’s not much more to keep players invested.
EA Sports UFC 4 is a generally great follow-up to the previous entry, but one that doesn’t necessarily have a whole lot of changes to it.
Overall if you're a veteran of the series, UFC 4 makes some adjustments you've been asking for and has some new features to dive into. If you're a beginner you've got a long climb ahead of you, but it's worth the grind. The game doesn't break new ground, but it seems to have refined what was already there.
Regardless of certain drawbacks, however, EA Sports UFC 4 is a satisfying UFC gaming experience.
It’s tiiiiiiime, to take a look at UFC 4 from EA Sports. As a longtime fan of sports games, it was an honour to be able to review of copy of UFC 4. I put a lot of hours into UFC 4, and sadly never got a chance to play the third instalment but was all too eager to dive in again. I understand that sports games are not for everybody, possibly more so than any other genre out there. Yet, they do have a depth and a pull, but it is unlike many other titles.
