Over all I love the new flavor, am happy to be playing XCOM again, and love the challenge. Like I said, if you have any love for XCOM in your heart, pick this expansion up.

9 / 10.0 - Zenzizenzic
Jul 25, 2015

A shmup for the modern gamer, Zenzizenzic is as bonkers as its name implies. It's also smart, efficient and unquestionably tight.

Episode 3: A Crooked Mile is probably my favorite episode of the three thus far.

Look, folks: Resident Evil 4 was a fantastic game when it first launch. It's still a fantastic game today, not only by 2005 standards but also 2014 standards.

Q.U.B.E. is still brilliant, make no mistake. It's clever, creative and beautiful puzzle-solving. But while the Director's Cut is the best version of the game, it isn't different enough to justify buying it again.

9 / 10 - Overwatch
Jun 7, 2016

You're going to be hearing a lot about Overwatch for a long time to come, not just because the game is stellar, but because of Blizzard's incredibly long track record of supporting their games post launch. You don't need to wait for a sale, the game's full price carries a ton of value both looking at today and with what lies ahead for the game. If you aren't already playing Overwatch, you are missing out.

Listen, Miku fans are already glued to their screen, and didn't need a review to tell them the game's fantastic. However, rhythm game fans who wanted a truly amazing game in the genre on their PS4 can certainly do no better at the time of this review, than Project Diva X.

Kirby Planet Robobot is what you get when the developers of the solid Kirby: Triple Deluxe watch a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, play Platinum's games, and say “F%*k it, we can do that!” Solid Kirby gameplay, satisfying puzzles, quick genre shifts that help avoid monotony, tons of special homages, and a pair of endings that are going to make Platinum/Anime fans lose their sh*t. This is a game every 3DS owner should look into.

9 / 10.0 - FIFA 17
Oct 4, 2016

FIFA 17 is hands down the best FIFA game I have played in years. It nails the atmosphere and intensity of playing a match in a large arena with an energetic crowd, it introduces a great, new story mode with emotion and loads of character, and it has some of the best gameplay of the series. EA knocked it out of the park with this one (sorry, wrong sport) and has potentially changed all future EA Sports titles for the better.

What Remains of Edith Finch is heartbreakingly sweet. Its stories, though grim, are enchanting. Even knowing that each story would end with a certain unhappiness, I was happy to have experienced it -- because as What Remains of Edith Finch so brilliantly manages to convey through its nearly two hours of storytelling is that life isn't about the ends; it's about the moments that got us there.

Whether you're a longtime fan who played the PS4 version already or someone unfamiliar with Crash, this modernized version of three undeniably classic platformers feels at home on Nintendo Switch. Even with some hits in the graphics department, Vicarious Visions has captured the heart and soul of Naughty Dog's iconic trilogy and made it playable just about everywhere for the first time.

9 / 10.0 - Destiny 2
Nov 2, 2017

Destiny 2 for consoles was already a stellar game that's made even better when the shackles of a console's limited hardware are removed. Uncapped framerates, an adjustable field of view and true 4K visuals make this PC experience impossible to top.
