A beautiful homage to the JRPG genre that still manages to stand on its own, while taking care to let go of all the annoying gimmicks that plagued JRPGs in the past.

9 / 10.0 - Velocity 2X
Oct 4, 2018

Simply put, Velocity 2X feels just as good as it always has. Fans of the game from previous consoles who own a Switch will have just as good of a time if they did on there, and if you own one, you should absolutely consider picking this up, especially if you never played the three DLC packs. 9 / 10.0 - Bayonetta
Apr 12, 2017

Even if its story falls into many amnesia tropes and the graphics are a bit dated, the innovative and enthralling gameplay coupled with its over-the-top-nature make Bayonetta a wild ride that you won’t ever want to get off. Sega has mentioned that they want to do more PC ports in the future and, if they are done as well as Bayonetta, I can’t wait to see what they bring over next.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a well-made platformer that adds more than enough level variety, graphical upgrades, new characters and new mechanics to keep the long-used formula from getting stale. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it certainly molds and polishes that wheel to near perfection.
