Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is one of those releases the gaming community will be using as a benchmark for years to come. I just hope there's more story hidden somewhere in The Phantom Pain, or being delivered via DLC, to give the Metal Gear series the victory lap it deserves.
If all you want is a better-looking version of Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition, and/or built-in online league support, then Blood Bowl 2 has you covered. But if you were hoping for a bit more from Cyanide Studios' next Blood Bowl release, it might be worth waiting until the price comes down and/or an upcoming Blood Bowl 2 patch gives the game a much-needed content injection.
Overall, Chibi-Robo Zip Lash is a very fun platformer that feels very Metroid in how it handles exploring worlds. While the difficulty can be lacking at certain points, once you master all of Chibi-Robo's moves you begin to really enjoy and appreciate the puzzle aspect of each level.
Prison Architect finally launched a full version with a campaign, but longtime fans will be disappointed.
Dragon Quest Heroes may have its flaws. But the game proves, once again, Omega Force's third-party projects remain Must Play games for any longtime fans of the hack-and-slash genre.

WWE 2K16 isn't exactly the best wrestling game we've ever played. But it's not the worst, either.
Yo-Kai Watch is an amazing first game of a hopefully long series and you'll want to pick it up immediately and hop on the Yo-Kai Watch hype train.
I see little reason why longtime fans of the franchise would be disappointed with Black Ops 3. It may not draw in many new fans, or convert those who've never been big Call of Duty fans. But there's more than enough here to keep the game's existing community locked in digital combat for another twelve months.
Fallout 4 took a long time to get here. Thankfully it's going to take a long time to finish, too.
Plenty of players and fans are hyped for the release of Fallout 4, but this is the first game of the franchise that I've played. Yes, I'm a Fallout virgin but Fallout 4 has shown me the light.
[E]asily the best Wii U game of 2015.
The changes present in Just Cause 3 aren't substantial enough to win over those uninterested in the game's predecessors. But there's more than enough here for longtime fans to justify one last purchase before the end of 2015.
SteamWorld Heist snuck onto the 3DS eShop earlier this month, without much fanfare or discussion. But SteamWorld Heist might be the best tactical strategy game to grace the platform in 2015.
'Mario and Luigi Paper Jam' is the next Mario spin-off for the Nintendo 3DS, bringing an enjoyable and challenging RPG to the handheld console.
While there are a lot of talking and walking parts to Cyber Sleuth the charm of the story and the deep battle system overshadow those problems. We had hoped Bandai Namco and Media Vision could take the Digimon franchise to new heights, and Cyber Sleuth is a great start.
When the promised updates in March come around, maybe Street Fighter V will live up to its potential but right now it feels incomplete.
Tom Clancy's The Division has plenty of polish and engaging gun fights but we're not quite sold on the latest shooter from Ubisoft.
The Pokémon Company has another successful spin-off. Pokkén Tournament is the best fighting game of 2016 so far.
Hyrule Warriors Legends is great for anyone looking for some mindless action to sink hours into, this is especially true if you missed out on the 2014 Wii U game.
