10 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Apr 23, 2017

Persona 5 is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. There is nothing more I can say.

"Triumph" is a word often lazily used by reviewers to describe games that receive high scores, but it's the only word I can come up with to describe Red Dead Redemption 2. A technical marvel, a narrative powerhouse and a game that will enter the halls of gaming history as a new high standard that many games would only dream to reach. Its slow and methodical nature may deter some, but if you can give the necessary patience, the reward is better than a train robbery going off without a hitch. You owe it to yourself to get this game.

10 / 10.0 - God of War
Apr 15, 2018

It's not just Kratos' appearance and maturity that's changed, but so has the God of War formula. Everything has grown up and with it you're left with an unforgettable adventure that will stay with you long after you put the controller down.

9.5 / 10.0 - Final Fantasy XV
Dec 5, 2016

This might be the darkest game in the series, but it is also, I feel, the best one so far. This is Final Fantasy, right down to the heart of it: four warriors of light looking for a crystal.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition is an incredibly good package, that adds a lot of value to what is already an exceptional game. It is honestly one of the best games I’ve played this year, full of endearing characters, great moments, both big and small and even some of the best layered villains. The combat is fun and engaging, the exploration is on point and story, especially the Blood Ties expansion, is exceptionally told.

9.5 / 10.0 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe might be a port, but thanks to the improvements and upgrades it is by far the best kart racer to date and should powerslide straight into your Switch library.

While based on the already brilliant Uncharted 4, The Lost Legacy does a fantastic job at creating its own unique identity. The adventure is dangerous, but it's also breathtakingly beautiful and the characters evolve with every step that you take. There isn't much to fault in this masterclass of an adventure game and Uncharted fans will undoubtedly love it even more.

9.5 / 10.0 - Beat Saber
Dec 17, 2018

Beat Saber is, quite simply, the perfect VR game. Slashing blocks with lightsabers couldn't be more fun and it's accessible to everyone. It takes the concept of virtual reality and implements a hyper-focused gameplay experience to deliver an experience unlike anything you've ever seen before. While being relatively simple in its design, everything is just set dressing for the lightsaber flailing madness that you'll partake in. And you'll love every second of it.

Odyssey takes what Origins started and sharpens it to a fine edge. This is bigger, better, bolder and still has time to be intimate and grounded in the middle of a massive war and tale of intrigue.
