I enjoyed Ori and the Blind Forest enough that once I was finished with it, I wanted to play it through again.

3 / 10.0 - Road Redemption
Oct 14, 2022

Graphics, controls, camera and gameplay unfortunately became a quick time sink port after a successful PC release several years ago. Nostalgia alone could not redeem Road Redemption on Android.

While you might have a small amount of fun and adventure, exploring dungeons, finding hidden treasure chests, and relying on the luck of d20 rolls to dictate fate, that are all a part of the Pathfinder experience, Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors ultimately fall short of its potential, delivering a lackluster experience that fails to capture the essence of the beloved tabletop RPG, while Despite its ambitious scope and promising features, the game ultimately struggles to provide a compelling adventure within the Pathfinder universe, and defiantly is not worth even the low price tag it has, while even on a launch sale of 40% off.

3.5 / 10.0 - GENIE Reprise
Feb 15, 2024

For those unimpressed by poetic endeavors, GENIE Reprise generously offers you mere glimpses of game worlds to aimlessly wander through – cramped locales that wouldn’t even make the cut in the next big-budget Western RPG. The sheer lack of substance in these worlds is staggering; there’s nothing to do beyond the absolute bare minimum required to stumble through the experience until its inevitable, and merciful, conclusion. While a handful of locales might stick around in your mind, it’s more likely due to the trauma of realizing how utterly unengaging and devoid of challenge the entire experience is. If there was any intent behind this lackluster endeavor, part of me suspects that the developers aimed for a masterpiece in mediocrity from the start. GENIE Reprise 100% feels more like a tech demo than a game.

Heads Up! Phones Down Edition on PC fails to capture the magic of the original mobile game. The lack of Ellen’s recognition, combined with a less engaging gameplay experience on the big screen, makes this version a disappointing departure from the beloved word-guessing game. For those who fell in love with the mobile version, sticking to the original platform seems like the wisest choice.

3.5 / 10.0 - Stray Souls

There are hundreds of games out there that are more worth your time than Stray Souls is. This bizarre, disappointing, and messy experience takes inspiration from but ultimately disrespects all the survival horror greats.

Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure may have a promising premise, but its execution falls short of delivering an exciting and captivating experience for its $32.50 CAD ($24.99 USD) current price point at the time of writing this review. The bullet points on the Steam game page mirror the disappointing reality of the game itself, leaving players yearning for a deeper and more engaging adventure. Despite its alluring concept, Ikonei Island ultimately fails to ignite the excitement it initially suggests.

If you are someone looking for a brand new game to play, I wouldn’t recommend this game as it does have a lot of negatives compared to positives.

4 / 10.0 - Overpass 2
Oct 20, 2023

Overpass 2 is a disappointment that’s difficult to overlook. The game’s unrealistic physics, high price tag, steering issues, and the stark contrast between the in-game vehicles and their real-life counterparts make it clear that this sequel is a lackluster follow-up to its predecessor. If you’re looking for an off-road racing experience, it might be best to steer clear of Overpass 2 and seek greener pastures elsewhere.

Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders is a disappointing game that fails to deliver on its potential. The game’s attempt to combine base-building with the classic tale of Robin Hood falls flat, and the result is a mediocre and uninspired gameplay experience. The game’s poor graphics and sound design only add to the disappointment. Fans of Robin Hood or base-building games may find some enjoyment in Sherwood Builders, but for most players, this game is best avoided.

4.5 / 10.0 - Atlas Wept
Jan 16, 2024

Atlas Wept showcases promise with its intriguing narrative and character upgrade systems. However, the sluggish battle system and unbalanced enemy HP create a frustrating experience, making it challenging for players to fully enjoy the game’s potential. While the developer’s dedication is commendable, improvements are crucial to elevate Atlas Wept to its envisioned heights.

It’s not worth the money, let’s face the facts, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures is no holiday smash. Looking for a festive platformer? This is a good option, but be warned it lacks replayability and variety in audio, gameplay, and level design.

4.5 / 10.0 - Die After Sunset
Aug 15, 2023

I couldn’t help but feel the game just got easier and easier, the powerups and items acquired made the game feel unbalanced, and as you played more and more you became overpowered even though the game is meant to have randomization between runs, it feels there is next to no level scaling. “

4.5 / 10.0 - Coffin Dodgers

5 / 10.0 - Sympathy Kiss
Mar 5, 2024

Sympathy Kiss is a visual novel that’s got an interesting tech design backstory. With its unique setting, fun characters, and engaging story, it’s a decent visual novel, but compared to other visual novels, it’s not one I feel in love with personally, and wouldn’t be a game I’d recommend for the $49.99 USD ($69.99 CAD) AAA price-tag it comes with.
