Episode three “Children of Arkham” focuses more heavily on the life of Bruce Wayne himself, which potentially makes the choices you make all the more difficult. Following the aftermath of episode 2, episode 3 sure looks to be volatile.
Guardian of Gotham is a fantastic penultimate episode that potentially opens the doors to become one of Telltale’s most rewarding and fulfilling season’s yet.
Hands down Tekken 7 is one of the finest and most balanced fighting games in recent times, that not only takes everything good about the old games, but has balanced certain mechanics and their imparting damages so that it doesn’t intimidate new players.
Telltales powerful method of storytelling shows no signs of fading and this opening episode proves evident with the introduction of its cast of new characters and furthermore, the evolution of Clementine.
Part Two of Ties that Bind literally picks up where Part One left off, not only in story, but also with its tension and suspense, and going forward, this could be the most dark and moral questioning season yet from Telltale.
We may be half-way through 2017 already, but DiRT 4 has most certainly set the bar for the genre this year and it sits firmly in pole position.
Guardians of the Galaxy – The Telltale Series is off to a flying start and with such high expectations to deliver to a demanding audience
Brimming with style and satisfying puzzling, The Sexy Brutale is a creative and unique experience. One of the better puzzle titles to come out in recent memory.
Little Nightmares is a dark, disturbing title that will have you trembling in fear, scratching your head in frustration and it will have you asking many questions regarding its purpose and meaning, and when it’s all said and done, you’re going to want to do it all again as you try to make sense of some of its quite shocking twists.
This is one of my favourite games to release in this already quality packed 2017 and if you own a Nintendo Switch, Splatoon 2 is certainly a must own title.
Episode Two ‘Under Pressure’ builds upon the opening episode and then some; it has drama, tension, action and heartbreak, so everything you want from a Telltale Games product.
PES 18 is a sublime football game and will forever more having you say “one more game"
The game is really fun, but has more quantity than quality that can make it tiring fast with a myriad of bugs that still need to be fixed. Not to mention PC gamers are well out of luck as it isn’t well optimised for it yet.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is both haunting and beautifully told. You’ll be rooting for Senua as soon as you see the torment on her face, just by having a glimpse of the horrors she faces every day, you’ll feel a part of her story
Serial Cleaner, is the best goddamn indie game since the original Hotline Miami, and the best indie game of this generation.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is an exhilarating and extensive experience, which fans of the franchise, and just fans of action RPGs in general, absolutely need to play.
All that has to be said about UFC 3, is that it is the grandiose, and robust MMA sim, which most were waiting for, since the release of UFC 2009 Undisputed. It features intuitive and explosive stand-up gameplay, which beautifully coexists with all the ground-game mechanics. And while some armchair pundits, may still moan about how simple ground and clinch based manoeuvres and holds are. Then it has to be underlined that the so-called simplicity, ultimately allows the title to reach wider audience, which won’t feel intimidated by unnecessarily confusing submissions or takedowns. And while the highly anticipated Ultimate Team, may be a Stockton slap in the face of many, it can ultimately be overlooked, and those who skip it, will not be missing out on anything significant.
the Street Fighter series continues to be just as iconic and sets the standard for the genre.
Dragon's Crown Pro offers upgraded visuals and some nice audio options as a remaster, however for returning fans there isn't any special reason to go back for this. For others, however, this is the definitive version of a very enjoyable and stylish side-scrolling fantasy brawler.
While I have honestly thought that Paul Rustchynsky, and the ex-Evolution developers have given their all when crafting MotorStorm: Apocalypse, then I am more than happy to say that ONRUSH is a much superior title, which dwarfs all the other arcade racers of this generation, and should be seen by other developers and publishers as a shining example of what racing games should be like.
