Deck 13’s latest creation deserves recognition, as the developers were able to learn from their past mistakes and use the experience gained with Lords of the Fallen to release a title that can stand proudly among the classics.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension is an excellent grand strategy title which will provide countless hours of enjoyment for fans of the genre. It’s a complex game, and most newcomers will probably bash their heads against a virtual wall for hours before fully mastering its systems, but climbing the social ladder and conquering Japan feels incredibly rewarding.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is a title that shows gamers that remakes can be an excellent idea if handled properly. Lizardcube has done an amazing job, masterfully updating the classic platformer's audiovisual aspect yet leaving its solid gameplay untouched so new fans can experience it the way it was meant to be.

Battle Brothers is an incredibly engaging experience, forcing players to make meaningful choices as they manage a mercenary company and try to leave a mark in a detailed fantasy world. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a must have for tactical shooter fans. Tripwire‘s latest release strikes a perfect balance between realism and fun, forcing players to work together thanks to its excellent squad mechanics and unforgiving gameplay. It’s definitely not a game for everyone, but those of us who enjoy working with others to achieve our objectives will keep coming back to it for years to come.
