9.8 / 10.0 - God of War
Apr 20, 2018

God of War is one of the best games this writer has had the pleasure of playing in years….maybe ever. Almost every aspect of this game is nearly perfect, and the other aspects are perfect.

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst could easily be my favourite game of the year. The whole idea of the game is what captivates me, it's sleek, fast and immersive!

Few games this year have had me on the edge of my seat as much as this. If you like games with a great storyline and a constant thrill than this is the game for you!

9 / 10.0 - Fallout 4
Nov 15, 2015

As Bethesda's "Welcome Home" marketing campaign teases, when fans of Fallout 3 or New Vegas enter this new world, it'll feel strangely familiar. As one of the top games of the previous generation, this isn't a bad thing at all. Fallout 4 has all of the trappings that can keep you engaged for days on end.

It's not the best Halo game I've ever played, but it is good, delivering most of the Halo essentials without compromise.

Assassins' Creed: Odyssey tells an epic, winding tale befitting the lesser bards of the classical era - no mean feat for a video game. That it's based in one of the most beautiful maps ever made is also nice, obviously.

A believable but no less intense story with tight gameplay set in a notably detailed and beautiful open world. Ubisoft have done an incredible job of refreshing another of their biggest franchises.
