9.2 / 10.0 - Elite: Dangerous
Jun 25, 2015

I would recommend this game if you want a space experience that you can have by yourself, with friends or with people you meet along the way. While not as big or feature laden like EVE Online or the upcoming ambitious Star Citizen, Elite: Dangerous is a satisfying experience that fills the void of a space simulator game, yet has an easier to climb learning curve and requires less time investment (and is already released). The game is not for everyone though, especially those expected a space combat game or cannot stand grinding for money.

Despite my minor complaints regarding the combat and the (massively inflated) controversy over the graphical downgrade, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a staggeringly accomplished game. The developers, CD Projeckt RED should be proud of what they've created. I just hope that others are paying attention.

8.7 / 10.0 - 0RBITALIS
Jul 5, 2015

To sum it up, 0rbitalis is a neatly executed game that would surely get you occupied for a while. It may have a very particular audience but it is still recommended that even players who aren't that familiar with the physics genre to try and experience the challenge of this game.

Overall, Batman Arkham Knight is still a great game despite its optimization issues. I already used Rocksteady's configuration advice for graphics and it already gave me a great experience in the gameplay. The story was spectacular, graphics were great even on Low how much more if we can set it on High after Rocksteady fixes the game, and the overall experience was fantastic. Batman Arkham Knight is a game where players can now experience what a Batman game should be and the epic conclusion of the Batman Arkham franchise.

9.5 / 10.0 - Rocket League
Aug 3, 2015

Rocket League is a fun and addicting battle cars sports game with lots of intensity and great core mechanics that proves to be a great sports video game of 2015. Overall, Rocket League is a fun and addicting sports game and a great eSports title addition. The game's optimization is very impressive, core mechanics are easy to learn and to get by, and the stunning graphics which overlooks the lack of LAN feature and still makes this game a great candidate for Best Sports Game of 2015.

All in all, Super Smash Bros. isn't just all fluff on advertisements, but is truly a very wonderful and intense game for all ages with literally an unlimited amount of things to do from challenges, collectibles and records to endlessly beat. Also, as long as Nintendo is here, Super Smash Bros. will continue to get updates every now and then and will also always have DLCs to download

A nice surprise for all the Lego fans and the Jurassic Park fans, Lego Jurassic World lived up to the hype with all the hours of fun it has in store. So, without further ado, I recommend this game to all Lego enthusiasts and Jurassic Park enthusiasts alike. Lego Jurassic World is one game worth playing and replaying for hours.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void gives what a final-chapter should be. The compelling story of the Protoss and their struggle to fight for their freedom and legacy marks the closure of the StarCraft narrative; with having all of the old favorite units back makes the trilogy complete. En Taro Artanis!En Taro Zeratul! En Taro Adun! En Taro Tassadar! And En Taro Artanis!

Star Wars Battlefront is yet another arcade shooter that Star Wars fan didn't quite expect as a successor of the critically-acclaimed Star Wars Battlefront II. With the lack of content, game modes, heroes, customization, space battles, and the prequel era – the game is quite a disappointment to Star Wars fans. Despite these negative factors of the game, visually Star Wars Battlefront is stunning. It brings the game to life and gives a half experience of what a true Star Wars game should be in the first place.

7.9 / 10.0 - Ceres
Dec 28, 2015

Ceres seems to be a promising space adventure game with a bit of simulation game feel to it with all the micromanagement of your ship and your fleet but it still seems to be far from being great enough to actually catch the mainstream audience's attention.

9.4 / 10.0 - LEGO Dimensions
Jan 17, 2016

Overall, I'm placing Lego Dimensions on my great games list. I've adored Lego ever since despite being just fairly new to the collecting part of it and I'm also fond of the humor that Traveller's Tales placed into their Lego games even way back when the characters didn't have full voice acting. So if you liked the previous Lego games, you would also like Lego Dimensions.

The environment, the gameplay, the characters, this game has certainly enough assets to present that would make this game a good purchase. It's problems aren't that much of a problem, in fact they aren't game-breaking at all. The game does reward you, especially with a certain secret area that takes you in for a spin on World War I, putting you in the shoes of Jacob's granddaughter, Lydia Frye, which fans could take as a hint towards the franchise's future direction. Definitely this game is one that you can buy and add to your collection or not but the experience would still be that of what you can expect from an Assassin's Creed game.

To sum it up, Trulon is an alright RPG. It does well with it’s innovative combat in an attempt to stand out from the crowd, but is unfortunately bogged down by its generic cast, uninspiring fetch quests, and being forced to go through all of it with your character’s walk speed. That said, it’s still an enjoyable title for its cheap price point and its availability on the mobile platform. While it fails to particularly stand out in it’s other aspects, Trulon’s combat system is fresh, unique, and strategically satisfying.

Needless to say, it's the chain of circumstances that makes a Telltale game a Telltale game. They didn't really deliver superbly the game's ending compared to how they ended The Walking Dead's season 1 and 2, but at least they did not fail to deliver its gameplay. Compared to TWD's endings, GoT's ending is a tad bit underwhelming. It has its fair share of plot twists and shocking outcomes, though, so you better be prepared on what's going to happen next.

Overall, the Hitman reboot is something I expected for a stealth game. The franchise reboot installment went to a path of letting players experience what an ultimate assassin should be, it didn't disappoint, but with all the server issues plus the 90% to be always-online overthrows the long-term experience of what Io Interactive wants to give to its players. Until the servers are fixed and stable, it's the first impression that makes the game worth buying.

7 / 10.0 - Foul Play
Mar 17, 2016

Foul Play is fun and entertaining especially when playing the co-op mode but it is not the engaging type where you would want to sit down for continuous play. If it were not for the story and graphics, the game would be linear, especially that the game's genre is not suitable for everyone's preference in gaming. Not worth a standing ovation, but not bad enough for a curtain call.

8.4 / 10.0 - Firewatch
Mar 18, 2016

Overall, Firewatch is a game you want to spend time in if you just want pure conversation and story. The narrative is what makes this game great even if it's a 5 to 7 hours of gameplay. And if you want to have pure adult-rated amusing conversations and jaw-dropping views of landscapes, then Firewatch is the game you definitely need to try out.

7.9 / 10.0 - Ronin
Mar 23, 2016

RONIN is fun and challenging at first but it doesn't last long. The lack of variation in its gameplay actually keeps the game's challenge level from rising significantly which isn't something players would expect for a game with a strategic vibe.

7.1 / 10.0 - Feist
Mar 24, 2016

That said, Feist is a rather short game. The game's length means that it suffers in some aspects such as it's eventual lack of variety, artificially extended gameplay via difficulty, and leaving the player hungry for more. The linear nature the game's puzzles are solved also means that there really isn't much replay value in the game. It's a nice and quick experience, but it will leave you wanting more. Players not accustomed to punishingly difficult platformers might find the challenge a little too much to progress. Overall, the game shows much promise, but there's not really enough of it to really sell itself.

If you’re feline like this game is a good PURRchase, for its price of $9.99, it’s worth it. What makes it better is that the developer is planning to add expansions soon, and more for a future with virtual reality compatibility. This game is packed with cute kitties and collectibles, it’s purr-fect for cat-lovers out there.
