Sirus Gaming's Reviews

For those who would still like to try the game in intrigue, it is recommended to maintain its original Japanese voice instead of the English dub. Though a good option for accessibility, the English dub hires voice actors that make a scene almost unbearable to watch because of the lack of emotions in their delivery. While there are FMVs with great dubs, this is definitely not one of them.

2 / 10.0 - FORECLOSED
Aug 12, 2021

Finishing the game was difficult, not because it had punishing encounters, but because the experience it provides is far from enjoyable. If I didn’t have to review the game, I would have put it down during the first hour. It brought me no enjoyment despite the interesting premise it stands on. As a comic book fan, even its visuals, which is the best part of the game, ultimately failed to engage me because of its terrible gameplay loop. Games are enjoyed for their stimulating gameplay, or their enticing tales, or in the best cases, for both. Foreclosed has neither of those things.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain needs much patching in order to be even considered playable. With unresponsive controls, frame rate issues, texture pop-ins, and etc., this game comes off far more frustrating to play than it is scary.

2.5 / 10.0 - Troll and I

I was greatly disappointed with Troll and I, this is why we should not expect too much. It saddens me.

3 / 10.0 - ELEX II
Feb 28, 2022

Elex II is a mediocre RPG with a boring story and characters which is greatly ruined by its infuriating bugs and horrible mission design. I personally would not recommend the game in its current state.

It is quite unfortunate that the Remastered version of The Raven did not fix the problems that seem to be inherent in the first game. It just wound up giving us a better looking way to ruin the experience.

3 / 10.0 - Ben 10
Dec 4, 2017

If you're looking for a Ben 10 game to play, we wouldn't recommend this one. It may just leave a bad impression overall. The previous installments, such as Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction for the actual PS2, would be a much preferable alternative.

3 / 10.0 - Hello Neighbor
Dec 31, 2017

Now that the game is out, I honestly have to say that I am a little bit underwhelmed. The concepts in the early access beta was not expanded upon. While it was refined to some extent, the game is still without its bugs and problems. The game showed so much promise but it released in practically the same state. Nothing significant was added, just more of the same. I probably would have had a different opinion if I jumped into this game after it was released but since I saw it grow, the new release holds very little for me.

3 / 10.0 - Lethal League

Even with moments of trivial gaming here and there, I still have hopes for this game that maybe they will have this upgraded soon or someone out there will prove me wrong. Who knows?

3.5 / 10.0 - Martha is Dead
Feb 24, 2022

Unfortunately, I can’t really recommend Martha Is Dead. It has a slew of problems and wasted potential when it comes to its narrative presentation. And gameplay-wise the game does feel lacking and has nowhere near the impact it clearly wants to have. At the end of the day, it winds up being a more confusing mess than a coherent emotional story.

3.5 / 10.0 - I Want To Be Human
Apr 20, 2016

I Want To Be Human isn’t really that good. The only fun thing about this game is how you execute your opponents with flashy moves. Other than that, I Want To Be Human is pretty much awful, not much to look into. To be brutally honest, this should’ve been posted as a free game rather than turning it into a $15 Steam entry.

3.9 / 10.0 - 60 Seconds!
Jun 3, 2015

Between good and horrible, 60 Seconds! is almost horrible. The gameplay and dialogue is repetitive, horrible and buggy controls, and annoying glass-breaking sounds make your whole first 60 seconds of playthrough a waste of your time.

Skatebird had potential, and I hate to drag it down, but I simply did not have an enjoyable experience with it.

I am not sure I would ever call the game fun, but there are moments where things click and there is a sense of accomplishment. Though every time I cleared a particularly challenging objective with a lot of moving parts and felt proud, the game threw something frustrating or unexplained at me that made the game feel like a chore again. That is perhaps the biggest issue I had with Buildings Have Feelings Too!: finding joy in the game.

All in all, Balan Wonderworld just wasn’t the game for me. The gameplay was tedious, the story was all over the place and the mechanics belonged to either a prehistoric or an unfinished game. To be quite honest, I’d say that the price to get into Balan Wonderworld is too high for an experience with the quality too low.

4 / 10.0 - Cyberpunk 2077
Dec 24, 2020

It all comes down to the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that’s broken, inconsistently written and immature. That would be forgivable if the game was great, but in truth it isn’t much more than the sum of its borrowed parts. It remains to be seen in the court of long-term consumer opinion whether CD Projekt RED is truly criminal, but there’s no denying that they’ve been caught.

All-in-all, this could have been a game that you can just have fun with and not take seriously. It’s unfortunately riddled with a ton of game-breaking bugs that you’ll spend more time being frustrated and disappointed rather than actually having fun. It feels like a beta version, almost. These bugs can very well be fixed in the future and maybe the experience will be more enjoyable then. For now, however, this game feels like an unfinished product that was pushed forcibly towards release. The game’s combat is so unfurnished and unexciting. The story feels… rushed. All of these aspects are such a shame because I feel like the game has a lot of potential and the main character is really likable. Sadly, that potential is far from attained.

4 / 10.0 - Skully
Aug 17, 2020

Skully probably could have been a much more fun game than it currently is right now but there were far too many headaches especially physics wise that playing this game while suffering from an ailment that involves a headache to which I did, felt like I needed to be absent from my work for another day. So for those that like a challenge and don’t mind some camera and checkpoint issues then Skully might be a game that one can easily roll with.

I had to believe that this video game was more than what the movie from 2015 offered. With the mash-up of every possible iconic horror monsters and the creativity of the Goosebumps world, I truly thought this would be a good scary experience relieving my childhood. Yet its another great disappointment and I recommend unless you want your kids to play this out, to sit this one out and just stream gameplay online.
