While I can appreciate the goal of the developer, I can't close my eyes to the obvious.
Forza Motorsport 5 blew me away.
The innovative battle system in The Banner Saga will have you hooked.
Wait for a price drop if you're in no rush to get either this game or an Xbox One entirely. The story, acting, and visuals hold it up, but the gameplay weighs it down hard.
This console port of a handheld title feels exactly like a handheld game without any excuses.
Gone Home is a solid proof of concept for what I hope will become more engaging point-and-click adventures in the future.
The game's fun outweighs its faults. Do I recommend you go purchase this game right away? Absolutely!
If you have already played Tomb Raider, there isn't much sense in paying $60 to play this again; just stick with the current gen version. But if you haven't played Tomb Raider and own a next-gen console, you should definitely give this version of the game a look, as it's worth every penny.
Telltale Games creates another gripping episode in this Fable-based series.

Best when played stealthily, Thief is an excellent stealth title and a welcome addition to your next-gen library.
Lords of Shadow 2 is a good game that has a handful of flaws that was holding it back from being a masterpiece. Lords of Shadow 2 would've been so much greater, but instead it's mediocre compared to the first game.
South Park: The Stick of Truth is an immersive , open-world, RPG filled with adventure, flatulence, and that time-tested sense of parody which has kept the show comical for 16 years.
Despite these faults, Danganronpa was one of the most enjoyable games that I had played in a while. The story kept me hooked and the court room battles were addicting. I was actually a little disappointed that the game did end, and am looking forward to the second game that will release later this year.
A fun little indie shooter that could have been a bit longer.
