7.5 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 12, 2017

Yooka-Laylee brings back the best memories of good old 3D platformers from the Nintendo 64 era, but along with it, comes some of the bad choices made at the time.

7 / 10.0 - Flywrench
Apr 7, 2017

A new minimalistic game from the creators of Nidhogg. It´s simple and effective, if your played Flappy Bird you´ll know how your character moves. You need to pass through color based barriers that depends on your specific move in a Outland kind of way.

Mass Effect Andromeda is a good game. There are many new thing to explore for old fans like the jump/dash ability, it´s small open world style maps and the new version of the mako. For newcomers the core formula of Mass Effect is still intact. However the game can't surpass its predecessors only because they were superb games and this one isn´t. It´s a nice experience but not one you should play on day 1.

Finally every game of the series leading to Kingdom Hearts III is on one platform. There is nothing new to these games from the collections individual release on PS3, but Kingdom Hears 1, 2 and Birth by Sleep are great games regardless of where or when you play them. Plus you have one more game and two big cinematic modes that covers the story of the DS adventures.

8 / 10.0 - Everything

As an experimental game, Everything is not for everyone, whoever it pushes the boundaries on what a video game can be.

9 / 10.0 - Nier: Automata
Mar 22, 2017

Nier: Automata is a spectacular game. It's a pseudo-perfect blend for those not-so-experienced players of Japanese RPGs. Its hack-and-slash-style fighting components and occasional shifts to the shooter genre, with frenetic camera dynamics, offer the player a fluid and welcome experience, in contrast with the classic and "slow" pace -if I may- of a typical JRPG.

Probably the most unique graphic novel in a videogame. Both games have a superb storytelling and challenging escape room puzzles. The game has multiple endings but manages to makes all of them useful and important thanks to it's amazing plot twist. Be careful, you might learn a thing or two while playing The Nonary Games.

One of the best visual novels series out there. A gameplay similar to the Ace Attorney games that achieves it’s own identity. A great storyline filled with violence, intrigue and amazing plot twist.

As a final thought, Horizon: Zero Dawn is a great game, one of those weird titles that survives its tremendous hype without hurting the final experience. The risk taken by Sony in asking Guerrilla to develop a AAA game that wasn’t in their comfort zone was a right decision. The way the title is narrated, touching deep and sensible themes, the implementation of playable elements and the focus on making the player want to explore a vast world, show that the six years in the making weren’t in vain. This could be another big new IP for Playstation, as it was Uncharted and The Last of Us in their last gen hardware.

An open world shooter that takes place in Bolivia, a new region that we are not used to see in videogames. It’s easy to notice this as soon as you start playing thanks to its map full of mountains that offers a small twist in the gameplay. It is also quite easy to jump in and out of online sessions making it easy to keep your own progress while advancing with others whenever you want.

From the mind of Tim Schafer and his team at Double Fine, a funny, charming VR Adventure. If you happen to have a Playstation VR,love Psychonauts, and are also going to play Psychonauts 2, then don't skip this game.

8 / 10.0 - Ys Origin
Feb 21, 2017

The origin to the story of Ys, and a fast paced fun action rpg to play, something you should try while we wait for Ys VIII to land.

8 / 10.0 - Sniper Elite 4
Feb 20, 2017

In one world, Sniper Elite 4 is a fun game. Though it seems that you need to plan every move and snipe all enemies out, you can take any approach you want in your missions. The possibility of playing the whole game with friends online makes the experience better.

A good DLC, a bit better than the big DLC of the previous game. A bunch of the trademark “cinematic fights” new characters and old characters with new animations. Lots of sidequests to try everything out. A good ending so far to the Naruto tale.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tales of Berseria
Jan 31, 2017

One of the darkest Tales of games so far. An excellent cast of traumatized characters with a nice script and character development. Although it tries to change the combat mechanics, in essence it's the same as every other game. A must play for all Tales of fans and a nice game for newcomers.

Resident Evil 7 is exactly what the series needed, a return to it's roots but with an added twist, a first person perspective. This is without a doubt one of the best Resident Evil games in years, a great terror game and the best experience in Playstation VR.

This collection of Kingdom Hearts is great to people who knows more than the basic about the story, but not welcoming at all for newcomers. Square did a good job with the remaster of Dream Drop Distance. Aqua’s new adventure in 0.2 Birth By Sleep gives us amazing but short taste of what to expect in KH 3. Saldy the movie falls short in reaching a good climax.

A good rhythm game. Nothing more, nothing less. Straight into action you can play whatever Miku song you want from the start. Ideal for any Miku fan out there.
