Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a very enjoyable, simple and fun experience you can take on at any time you want a little rush. With quite a few hours worth of gameplay to dive into, if you are looking for a colorful action beat 'em up with a twist, then Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a solid choice.

Unscored - Awkward
Sep 19, 2018

Awkward is a game that asks about your opinions on certain things, and while you will get some pretty ordinary questions, a lot of them are going to be downright rude, dirty or downright awkward. Some will make you laugh out loud, while others will definitely start some heated arguments.

Aug 27, 2018

SpiritSphere Dx is a fun arcade style adventure sports thing on Nintendo Switch that has a lot to offer when playing at home or on the go. The charming and diverse cast of characters, the many gameplay modes and the tons of unlockable spheres and costumes will keep you entertainingly busy for many hours.

Sly Spy is a short and fun arcade experience you can play at home or on the go. You're looking at 30-40 minutes at most to complete the game depending on your skill, as is usually the case for arcade games from ages past. The Johnny Turbo's Arcade continues to grow, and I look forward to playing more games in the series!

Nov 10, 2017

Fishing Master on PlayStation VR is well worth the try if you like a good angling competition. It's light-hearted and fun, and it will immerse you into a world of the sport and transport you to places you wouldn't normally be able to visit – which is the whole point of a VR experience, right

Raiders of the Broken Planet is an ambitious and solid indie release on PlayStation 4 that does a lot of things right. MercurySteam managed to release a fun episodic game with offline and online modes while offering it at a fraction of the cost of other games. Being able to get campaigns as they release is interesting, and if you like the prologue you can dive in and get the Founder's Pack which makes it so that you get all campaigns as they release.

If you're looking for a weird but charming PlayStation 4 release where you roll a boulder around, with cutscenes that have a good sense of dry humor and a Monthy Pythong look to them, then Rock of Ages 2: Bigger and Boulder is exactly what you need on Sony's home console. There's plenty of content and a ton of weird weapons and boulders to use, so I'm sure you'll find something that pleases you. And if you don't, well, though luck!

If you like point and click games, you're in for a really good time with this game, even more so if you're a fan of Maniac Mansion! Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick have worked on quite a lot of great games in the past, and Thimbleweed Park is a worthy addition to their lists. I hope we don't have to wait too long for their nexst game!

I had a lot of fun with the Zen Pinball 2: Bethesda Table pack. The DOOM table ended up being my favorite, even though I didn’t have a connection with the recent source material – this goes to shows the strength of the table design. I liked the Fallout table since I love the Fallout universe in general, and certainly had fun playing it. I still enjoyed the Skyrim table, but it had the most flaws of the group too. Great design and aesthetic, but the table itself doesn’t reach the goals I think it was aiming for. Overall, this is a great showing for Zen Pinball 2 and a bundle you definitely need to try for yourself.

The game has a lot on offer and for a reasonable price. I enjoyed playing this release for my Neon Chrome review. While it’s not perfect, and it doesn’t have a Platinum trophy, it’s still a ver fun release you can enjoy either at home on your PS4 or on the go on your PS Vita.

Human Resource Machine is certainly a fun Nintendo Switch puzzle game with several hours of content. If you're really into programming, then your mileage might vary, and you might be able to complete the game faster. But in the end, for someone like me with zero programming skills, creating a script I then needed to test and debug as needed was a very entertaining experience.

4 / 10 - Gene Rain
Aug 15, 2018

In the end, it's really hard for me to recommend Deeli Network's game, especially at that price. It's got its share of basic QA issues (non-working controls were the worst) that can't be ignored, and it has an OK storyline and combat system. If your time with Gene Rain feels different from my experience, be sure to let us know in the comments below!

4 / 10 - Road Rage
Dec 14, 2017

I thought I was going to enjoy Road Rage, but, unfortunately, I quickly discovered the game wasn't great. It has a bland, uninspired open world with no incentive to explore it, repetitive gameplay, and bad acting. The only thing I thought was good was the bike customization, but that can only take you so far in this world. There are plenty of other ways you can spend your time on PlayStation 4, so be sure to stay far away from this one!

Technical glitches and general movement annoyances are embedded into the DNA of the game, and it really dulls the overall experience of what could be a good title. The problems literally ripple throughout the game and betray any form of fun from what is, quite honestly, a rather lovely looking game.

The honest truth is that this game feels like a cash grab. It's $39.99, and I can recommend many games that are better and which cost half to three quarters less. It's short, lacks a compelling reason for the obscene amount of collectibles, and doesn't do anything new. At this point, you would be better skipping this cat and trying something else.

I'm not a fan of the teleporting mechanics but found that after a while I got used to it, but the lack of free roam and just specific points to teleport to kinda kills it for me. If you have run out of PS VR experiences and this one is on sale, then you'll probably be able to justify the purchase. But as is, you'd be better off spending your hard-earned money on something else.

Ace of Seafood is a weird Japanese release which has a lot of flaws, the worst being the actual gameplay and how you control things. The camera will be your worst enemy, and aiming at enemies could definitely have been way better. I'd suggest you avoid this game unless it goes on sale and you really want to try a weird game that only gets weirder as you play more and more.
