Saudi Gamer's Reviews

An improvement, especially with large crowds via smartphone controls, but for smaller groups of 4 or less Nintendo offers better and richer experiences that scratch the same itch.

5 / 10 - Redfall
May 2, 2023

Redfall may be Arkane's first disappointing game! This is not because the studio moved away from what distinguished it in its previous games, but rather through the game itself as an open-world game that did not offer anything special and did not try to move away from the issues of this type of game that has been criticized in many games since the beginning of the last generation. And on top of that the fact that the game is technically tragic, and it is preferable to wait for a lot of updates to fix its problems, whether from technical issues or wobbly performance.

Tales of Symphonia Remaster is a low effort re-release thst could have brought a legendary title to the new generation by fixing the rough edges and add few quality of life changes, but sadly this release didn't contain any of that to the more than 20 years old game.

For the second year in a row, you can sense that the game was developed in a hurry, the menus copied from Modern Warfare and technical issues, the assignment of the Treyarch studio to develop zombies and its incomplete release, and the lack of different designs that distinguish each team from the other, are all indications that the game did not take enough time for development. Of course, the foundation of the series is always fun, the technical issues will be fixed with time, and it will be a good game until the next release. But the standard has become thinner than a mere "enjoyable foundation" and expected.

Comparing to previous titles true colors feel somehow underwhelming, whether that's Alex's character or plot development. And while "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing but I think it's time to change things a little bit in the series.

A good arcade option for sports, but it's shallow and quickly loses its coolness.

5 / 10 - Godfall
Nov 24, 2020

The game should've initially released as an early access game to be able to grow through the feedback of gamers who love this genre. However, the game was below expectations with minor fun elements but felt empty. As a new generation launch game we will hardly remember it in the future, unless it got the support it needs and tweaked to be a better game.

Disintegration tried to come up with a new ideas and unique gameplay, while somehow it succeeded with that, it wasn't enough to make the overall experience enjoyable, as it came short in mostly everything else. Not to mention it's almost impossible to find multiplayer as of now, so you will not be able to get the full experience.

WWE2K20 left the gameplay behind while trying to focus on delivering diverse content, it's a technical disaster and a huge setback for the franchise.

5 / 10 - MediEvil
Oct 29, 2019

Everyone was optimistic about the return of the MediEvil series especially after the great success achieved by Crash N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but unfortunately MefoEvil for the PS4 is mediocre at best .

Wolfenstein Cyberpilot feels more like an experience than a game, it offers a lot of promising ideas but it doesn't invest enough in them.

Fun expansion extends the game length, but ends up to be a wasted opportunity. The visuals & challenges will attract you at first, after that you'll get bored from the grinding challenges and lack of rewards.

The bright side of this release is that the No More Heroes series is still alive after more than 8 years since no more heroes 2 , but unfortunately at the end of the day this particular release does not present anything new to the series or even to the story in general.
