Overall the game was entertaining for a bit, though I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as a true fan. It does have some minor issues, but with a price tag of around $20 it isn't too bad to spend a few hours if you are an existing fan or mech fan.

Mr. Shifty is a wonderful indie game with gameplay that makes you feel unstoppable. It's an exhilarating feeling when you take out enemies with teleportation. The levels are challenging and, most importantly, it is extremely fun to play. At $14.99, I can't recommend Mr. Shifty enough.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is everything an HD remake should be. The game itself was given an amazing face lift and the animation looks incredible. The platforming gameplay is the same as the original game, to a fault. The basic platforming and enemies can be a little boring at times.

Sadly this is another title from GameStop’s GameTrust publishing arm that has been subpar. I am saddened that another developer’s passion project turns into a bad gameplay experience for players.

Stardew Valley is an incredible example of how characterization and choices can create an engrossing gaming experience. Each choice you make has lasting consequences and repercussions. If anything, Stardew Valley gives you not only a farming experience, but a look at how life can change with hard work and caring about your fellow man.

A or higher - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

If you don't own the WiiU version of this game, now is the time to pounce. Its new battle mode and drive assist features are stellar, boosting Mario Kart's strongest installment straight to the top of games to own on the Switch.

Neurovoider is a blast to play. The customization, detailed artwork, and the soundtrack all fit amazingly in this twin-stick shooter. Though lacks in online multiplayer, it makes up in customization depth and procedural levels to not make it so repetitive. At a $13.99 price tag I would definitely pick this up if you're into this genre and have a buddy or two to play with.

Jackbox Party Pack 3 is very entertaining and great to play with friends. It fits extremely well with the Nintendo Switch's portability. I wish there was a way to play without WiFi, but the Party Pack won't take up too much data if you use a mobile hotspot. If you don't have it yet, Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a great addition to the Switch library.

NBA Playgrounds holds it's own in the world of arcade basketball. It's challenging and very fun. Some gameplay could be tweaked and the addition of 4 players to it's online mode would really make NBA Playgrounds shine. As is, expect to have a blast playing as your favorite NBA players from yesterday and today.

There is some enjoyment to be found in FlatOut 4: Total Insanity. The AI and grind to unlock everything doesn't do the game any favors. But FlatOut and Stunt Mode are fun. FlatOut 4: Total Insanity is definitely more enjoyable with friends.

Rain World isn't a game that everyone will enjoy unfortunately, and that is a shame. Rain World is brutally gorgeous and an unforgiving world that continues to amaze and throw surprises at you along your journey.

Portal Knights may not have been the first of it's kind, but it does a lot of great things. The enemies are challenging, you can craft a lot of items, and it is really fun with friends. Some may be turned off by the long loading times and the grind to level up. But at $19.99, there is a ton of value in this game and it is very entertaining. Portal Knights gives you something that is lacking in Minecraft - it gives you a clear purpose and goals as you play.

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days is a frustrating experience with little else to help make it stand out among other heist games. At this point, it might be time to just let Reservoir Dogs be a classic movie instead of a gaming franchise.

The Sexy Brutale is bad. If monotony is thrilling to you, then buy this game. I give them credit for trying something knew, but am disappointed how it turned out. The beautiful environments loose their "wow" factor the 10th time you have to go through them.

A or higher - Embers of Mirrim

Embers of Mirrim is a fantastic platformer. It's beautifully made with nice, crisp controls. The Ember system is a huge highlight that offers challenge and a ton of fun. The puzzles and bosses can be a little challenging towards the later part of the game, but offers a ton of content in the form of platforming, puzzles, boss battles, and secrets to find.

Flinthook is a game that should not be missed. It truly stands apart from the platforming/rouge-like genre and has now set the bar for bad-assery. An amazing 'hook shot' movement mechanic, randomly generated levels, chrono-belt, humor, and collectables? This will keep you entertained for hours.

Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop is a great fit for young gamers who need simple and responsive controls. Young gamers will enjoy unlocking accessories and cooking dishes. The repetitive gameplay will cause some gamers to avoid it. However, if you are looking for an enjoyable game for young gamers, then you can't really go wrong with giving them Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop.

Overall, SGW3 is a blast to play. With all the main and side missions included it offers plenty of gameplay to not get bored. The open world environment lets you go just about anywhere you want and complete everything at your own pace and the order you prefer. Aside from the long load time it is well worth the wait as once loaded there is not really any more waiting as you dive straight into the action. This game is fun, easy to play, and with a solid story behind it. I would recommend this to any open world game fan that enjoys sniping or even going in full blown rush with guns blazing.

Overall Seasons After Fall is a fun game to play. Though there are some issues that I ran into, I did enjoy playing it and getting wrapped up in the story was good enough to continue pressing forward.
