Breath of the Wild is the first killer application available on Nintendo Switch, a true masterpiece that shows us once again how Nintendo is capable of creating a remarkable experience in such a common genre like the open-world adventures. If you own a Switch console, you can not miss Link's epic last journey.

With Mario Sports Superstars, Camelot brings to the Mushroom Kingdom five of the most-loved sports that 3DS users can enjoy with Mario, Luigi and lots of other well-known characters. The different sports are good, but the game seems to be fun only if you play together with your friends or via online multiplayer, due to a lack of variety in the single-player activities.

7.5 / 10.0 - Snipperclips
Mar 8, 2017

Snipperclips is the perfect demonstration of Nintendo Switch's capabilities when it comes to local multiplayer: SFB Games' new puzzle game offers many fun stages to be played with your friends or when you want to have a break between a dungeon and a boss fight in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The most-funded RPG on Kickstarter history debuts with some broken promises, such as the lack of an Italian localization, which was among the goals achieved by the software house. While offering a great adventure set in a huge fantasy world, the Xbox One version of Torment: Tides of Numenera lacks of stability and has several technical issues that can ruin the game experience.

Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem is a nice party game to spend your Saturday nights with your friends, but only if you own an Xbox One controller, given that any other USB controller won't work with the game. Things are even worse when it comes to online multiplayer, which is ruined by empty servers and nobody to play with. The lack of a single-player mode does not allow users to enjoy a great and fun gameplay by themselves.

7 / 10.0 - Lego Worlds
Mar 14, 2017

Despite its huge potential, LEGO Worlds it's still far from being a real alternative to Mojang's Minecraft. The latest entry in the LEGO franchise offers a nice game experience and a great price, but it also has several problems such as the lack of variety compared to the activities of previous games, a painful camera and some technical issues. If you can tolerate all those flaws, then you'd probably love the freedom to create anything you want with tons of different LEGO bricks.

7 / 10.0 - Dystoria
Mar 15, 2017

Dystoria is a nice six-axis sci-fi shooter that offers some interesting challenges, but its mechanics and level design are flawed by several issues that make difficult to enjoy it for more than a couple of hours.

6.5 / 10.0 - Blaster Master Zero
Mar 17, 2017

Blaster Master Zero is an old-style shooter based on the NES classic, that debuts on Nintendo Switch with a bunch of new features and bosses. The game lacks of innovation and it's much similar to lots of other shooters from 30 years ago, which might be good for nostalgic players and 80's lovers, but not so much for those wanting to try some fresh experiences on Switch.

8 / 10.0 - Everything
Mar 27, 2017

Everything is different from anything you've ever tried in your life. For this reason, it can split the community and open a debate about the meaning of the videogames, the philosophy behind them, and what can/should be told in a game. The new creation from game designer David OReilly is not suitable for everyone: only if you are willing to get involved, you will really have a chance to enjoy the concept behind it.

8 / 10.0 - Yo-Kai Watch 2
Apr 3, 2017

Welcome back, Yo-Kai! The brand new sequel does still offer a different experience for those loving Pokémon, but with a simpler gameplay and battle mode. Collecting all the monsters and exploring the entire world is anyway a big challenge that everyone who loved the first episode will definitely enjoy!

Apr 5, 2017

The first rhythm game we ever had on a console is finally available on PS4 with a porting that, unfortunately, offers a simply upgrade of the graphics. No new modes or songs are available in this remastered edition, with almost no changes or improvements in comparison to the original gameplay that, today, seems to be not so compelling. Such a shame!

7.5 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 20, 2017

Yooka–Laylee is an unexpected gift from Playtonic Games that proves once again how the 3D platform genre can still entertain after almost 20 years. Despite being very funny and inspired, the game has several flaws, with the camera and the control mechanics being the biggest ones. Even if the gameplay is far from the perfection, if you loved old 3D platforms such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, you will definitely enjoy the new Yooka-Laylee from Playtonic, but if you're new to this genre you might experience a difficult-to-manage gameplay that is not good as most of the modern platforms available today.

9.2 / 10.0 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Apr 24, 2017

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the most complete and rich version ever made by Nintendo for its racing game, thanks to the new Battle Mode and the graphic upgrade from the Wii U edition. 8 / 10.0 - Outlast II
Apr 26, 2017

Outlast II is a huge step forward in both narration and graphics from Red Barrels' first survival horror experiment. Even if the first chapter had a greater balance between the different gameplay mechanics, its sequel offers one of the best overall experience for those loving horror games. Ready to feel the fear?

Fire Emblem Gaiden was the most atypical chapter in the series, containing elements which were later abandoned in the future iterations of the franchise. Thanks to its renewed graphics and some features that make its gameplay less cumbersome and inflexible, Shadows of Valentia could be considered the sum of what Fire Emblem saga has proposed so far.

8 / 10.0 - Thumper
May 18, 2017

No matter which version of Thumper you will play, you're definitely gonna love it. The first game from Drool offers the classic "easy to learn, difficult to master" gameplay, which feels even better on Nintendo Switch. On the new Nintendo console, the game offers the chance to move between the great TV mode and the awesome Handheld mode in a blink, while the HD Rumble on both Joy-Cons gives you a great sensation. A must-buy for every Switch owner.

9 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
May 22, 2017

Whether you are or not a big fan of DC Comics hereos and villains, you should definitely give a chance to Injustice 2, which proves what a fighter game should offer in 2017. The story of Injustice 2 is really great and offers the chance to test most of the 29 characters available on day-one, while the Multiverse is a great addition that allows players to try new challenges everyday and drop sweet loot to custom their favorite characters. The online multiplayer is great and well-balanced, and the overall experience makes Injustice 2 one of the best fighting game ever made.

Toby: The Secret Mine is a good platform that can be enjoyable by everyone, although its design could be improved with less "trial & error". As a result, the whole experience is a bit frustrating.
