Flight Simulator 2020 is a game that is launched with a modest amount of content that, however, will take years to master. It is a platform that will evolve over time, but it has a really fabulous visual, physical and control base.

Ori has opened our eyes to a world of audiovisual poetry that does not innovate but distills the sap of the classics and spreads it through a forest of emotions, playable quality and visual amazement. The first essential of the year.

A perfect blend between a platformer and a metroidvania, with a wonderful story, artistic style and soundtrack. If you didn't play the original, Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch is the best way to experience a truly magical video game.

It has lost elements such as the split screen or armor skills but the content offer is brutal, the balance of the arsenal almost perfect and the news of its multiplayer mode can have us hooked for months.

The iconic Turn 10 saga celebrates years with a delivery that is an ode to the engine. The rain and the night are not ‘total’, but the set is beastly, the best that the genre has ever seen.

As a Black Maiden, Bluepoint Games revives Demon's Souls on the PlayStation 5 Nexus by achieving something that seems impossible: a game that faithfully and quite rightly recreates all the good things in the original while feeling current. It feels next-gen.

Arkane Studios delights us again with an adventure that mixes elements of exploration, action, stealth and puzzles with much more success than we're used to seeing. The ability to play with two characters, playable freedom and different endings make the campaign one of the most replayable of recent years.

The Last of Us is still a masterpiece, and the PS5 remake looks truly "next gen". There are some gameplay improvements and new game modes, but it is not enough to buy the game for the third time if we already played the original and the PS4 remaster.

There are games that are classics, and no matter how much time passes, they never stop being classic. P4G is one of them, and everything from the combat system to the soundtrack is still working and connecting more than a decade after its release. Now it comes back more beautiful and fluid, but it's still exactly the same game that amazed us on PS Vita in 2012.

The original was so groundbreaking that it even holds up with the guy today, but this remake shows that there was a lot of room for improvement. It doesn't matter if you knew Leon's original adventure or not, with this trip to "deep Spain" you will spend it like never before.

It is a game that exudes a confidence and firmness when it comes to carrying out everything that is proposed that we had not seen in the saga for years, proving that Final Fantasy does not need to wait its turn to shine like a star.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder isn't just a breath of fresh air for 2D platformers, it's a masterclass in how to update a game concept that's been a hit for more than three decades, and do it successfully, without losing the essence. A surprising platformer where the unexpected is the real star.

Although it lacks two key pieces to be the "definitive version", Persona 3 Reload modernizes a classic to the level of today's great RPGs and includes enough new features to tempt those who already knew it once again. The best of both worlds, as they say.

Nixxes once again does an impeccable job. An exceptional port of a great adventure, with all the content included, which also has a great optimization to work very well in different configurations. Without a doubt, PlayStation should make them the only studio tasked with porting their games to PC.

Thanks to a ton of changes, additions, and improvements, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has gone from being a great RPG to one of the best. Even if you played it (and finished) it back in the day, it's worth returning to this wonderful post-apocalyptic world of demons, angels, and challenging turn-based combat.

One of the greatest classic RPG of the generation. Story, setting and freedom of action seems uparalleled, although controls and menu navigation for consoles version still feel a bit rough.
