5 / 10.0 - The Sinking City
Jun 25, 2019

It's very hard to call The Sinking City a "good game," all things considered, but it was definitely a game worth making. Keep an eye out for future improvements and hopefully someday it'll be a game worth playing.

5 / 10.0 - Anthem
Feb 26, 2019

Though the core gameplay loop of getting better loop will undoubtedly hook players in, Anthem currently doesn't offer enough original content to make the investment worth it.

Even a couple of interesting quirks can't stop Earthfall from falling flat.

All-Star Fruit Racer is a bold attempt at making a name for itself in an oversaturated genre. Unfortunately, the lack of focus on delivering a consistent product has left AFR a little under-ripe and could have done with a bit more time to develop.

5 / 10.0 - Q.U.B.E. 2

Not helped by technical glitches and cumbersome controls, Q.U.B.E. 2 boxes itself in with tedious gameplay and a sluggish pace.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a mediocre shooter, elevated only by its smooth shooting controls and let down by its lackluster gameplay, boring open world, terrible writing, frequent crashes, bugs and performance issues. If you're a tactical shooter junkie like me there's some substance here, but there's better, more stable products out there that will respect your time a helluva lot more.

Sep 20, 2022

Soulstice is a game with some great aesthetic choices, but is completely marred by poor gameplay design that takes control away from the player during the times they'll need it the most.

Swansong boasts an incredible world with intriguing characters and a deep story that does the source material justice, but the gameplay is long in the tooth and irritating at times.

5.5 / 10.0 - JETT: The Far Shore
Oct 4, 2021

JETT: The Far Shore has admirable ambition in its narrative that its mechanics can't match. This planet might be a nice place for a visit, but you likely won't want to live there.

On the track, there's a decent little racer in Hot Wheels Unleashed. Everything else feels like a bit of a letdown.

5.5 / 10.0 - Carrier Command 2

Instead of ushering in a revolution for the strategy genre, Carrier Command 2 ends up feeling more like a prototype that needed extra time in development.

5.5 / 10.0 - BIOMUTANT

Biomutant has a lot of issues that more lenient players might be willing to look past for its fantastic strengths, but the overall package is a tough sell.

5.5 / 10.0 - Kosmokrats
Nov 4, 2020

Kosmokrats' Soviets-in-space setting and the story hit some good notes, but it's all let down by the gameplay. I really wish I could recommend the game, but this is one to avoid as it stands, comrades.
