Overall, this action RPG is just up my street. Everything I want from an anime based series, familiar and charming characters, new roster of characters to engage with, old but new lands to explore and a solid combat system that is pretty simple to grasp.
Overall Antihero has amazing and engaging gameplay that requires you to think rather than brute force it. The style is refreshing alongside the continual addition of mechanics keeping every level feeling fresh.
Aven Colony has shaped itself up well with the other city-building game that are on the market today. It offers a Campaign mode with a good story line and an array of different objects to help mix it up a bit as well as having the sandbox mode that allows for endless, customisable fun.
To put it simply, Children of Zodiarcs is a fantastic, challenging and hugely enjoyable tactical RPG; however, a lack of variation in its gameplay stops it from being so much better. Each battlefield, though simple, is a tremendous task to navigate round and conquer, with each mission asking more from you than the last.
A fitting end to a plot line some consider the best in the universe so far. I’m excited to see what comes next for the franchise, I can only see it either getting better or just hovering around consistently great fun to play. But for now, any fans of the franchise have a lot of fun to be found in this new instalment.
In summary, Starcraft: Remastered has given the long living Brood War eSports scene the tools to maintain itself for even longer, dedicated servers are tribute to its dedicated fan base and the Korean scene. I respect Blizzard for their decision on this part. Its an amazing gesture for their hardcore fans.
This game is well worth buying and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good old fashioned shoot-em up.
Vostok Inc. juggles a lot of styles, and manages to pull them all off well just above average. The sum is not always greater than its parts but in this case the sum is much greater. If you find some spare coin, and want a game about making coin back then Vostok Inc. is for you.
Overall, Ark: Survival Evolved gets an 8/10, it was and still is a great game, with the new additions to the game and changes it has seen a vast improvement. However, it still has a big problem, glitches, and optimisation, with many claiming it has not improved since day one. Early Access, Alphas, and Betas are meant to be the time you make a game stable, not add more stuff to break it.
Overall, Slime Rancher gets an 8/10, it has improved on its design from the early access version and being ported to PS4 allows many more people to play this lovely little simulation game. It can feel quite grindy at times, with most of the story told through text rather than events or voices. The lack of NPCs or people to interact with besides mail can feel a bit lonely, though being surrounded by slimes adds to the immersion of being on the ranch.
As much as it kills me, I’m hooked on The Pillars of the Earth’s story. There are two more episodes and if they build a story as well and fill it full of great characters I’ll definitely play it, as much as it tests my patience.
Rather than the first season where Episode 2 dropped the quality down, this just keeps holding the quality and adds some. In a surprise twist, I’m giving this chapter an 8, and a pat on the back for keeping me engrossed.
Anyways, as a verdict I will give Guardians of the Galaxy episode 3 an 8/10. I think it does better than episode 1, but a bit worse than episode 2 in terms of moral choices and character development. I guess I’m seeing it that way, because I had already set myself on the “let’s try to reconcile Gamora and Nebula” path right from the very beginning, so it wasn’t hard for me to decide.
f you’re just getting into anime and have started watching Naruto then I would also recommend picking this up as it’s a fantastic way of exploring the rich history of the series’ because getting into the show can be daunting at roughly 770 odd episodes!
Overall WRC 7 is an enjoyable, rewarding title, with a curve that will suit rally enthusiasts looking for a simulation, it is not as simulated as Project Cars 2, but its does try. It will not take newcomers by the hand, but it will guide you and teach you to drive from the very low tiers and as you improve, so does your standings. For experienced drivers, you will be tested, oh yes you will be, so be prepared.
Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a very pleasant and enjoyable game. With a pleasing aesthetic, fun and quick gameplay, and an intriguing story. It is definitely a recommended turn-based RPG, for beginners and veterans alike, with a relatively simple battle system and enough hidden depth to get you hooked and planning out every battle many moves ahead.
Vaporum catches attention easily. We like steampunk, it’s cool, and ever since Bioshock brought steampunk back people have been trying to encapsulate that style.
As a whole I will give episode 4 in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy an 8/10. While there are oh so many things I adored, the stuff that’re keeping it from scoring higher are the fact that the major choices didn’t turn out to be as consequential as I’d wanted them to, I would have also liked more engaging pick of stuff to throw out or keep and the entire episode feeling a bit like a filler to the main plot.
This game isn’t action packed or filled to the brim with quests to follow, but offers you a profound story accompanied by a breathtaking score and moving visuals. Forgotten Key’s AER Memories of Old is an unmissable Indie game of 2017.
If you haven't given Spintires a chance then this is the time to do so. It's nice to see them shovel more content in rather than just plugging the game on to consoles. You'll have a good experience regardless of which format you grab it. Sim fans and casual players should find several good hours of fun in this.
